Considering that the roadmap is “We killed Pve. Suck it!”, can you blame them for burying the lede?
OW2, as was promised on reveal, is dead. Officially. What we’re left with is a poorly managed PvP game shedding players in huge numbers. Numbers that will only grow now that the crowd who were ONLY waiting on PvE retire to the sidelines permanently.
I’ll give Blizz credit for at least being honest today. They sugar-coated a bit, but they got down to brass tacks and just straight up honestly announced that they killed PvE, full stop. Bold. Desperate? Probably.

They didn’t want it to get views because if it did, moderation of the dog decision would’ve been literally impossible.

Just skipped the whole starwatch bit but yeah was surprised when looking at timestamps how much time they dedicated to a pvp mode that reused an old map with a few extra control points.
Its so pathetic, starwatch is a joke, anyone could make this mode within few hours.

Honestly if they didnt waste time on stupid crap like starwatch or that terrible lifeweaver mode or that god awful roadhog pachimari event. Maybe they would of had the time to actually make a pve mode. How dumb do you have to be to run a company that way. I still have to see what it is this “gamemode”, it’s just disgusting for me, so i don’t even try to launch it. All the so called “events” done in the renamed overwatch are literally useless garbage, and i’m not even exagerating

How can you talk over 40 minutes about this mode? It’s literally just 4v4 3CP with locked characters.
