Two days ago I started experiencing some kind of lag, my latency went from 20ms to 55ms, but the game became unplayable, with players teleporting in front of me and my hero not responding to my commands correctly. Yesterday I tried to play again and still the problem persisted, on lower scale though. Today the game went really bad again, when I press “Ctrl + Shift + N”, it shows a an average 40% of out packages loss. Is anyone else having similar issues?
I think I have same problem with you. Just test a game with lower graphic setting and watched frame rate changing normally. Thx for your ctrl+shift+n tip, I noticed a spike for “loss out”. I think it was 15% for 1 or 2 sec. Most of game time play was fine but that 1 or 2 sec loss out can cause teleport of player. I tired another qp and this time there were more spike of “loss out”. As result, more “pop up” and made the whole game unplayable.
Today the problems seems to have went away. Sorry I wasn’t able to post the WinMTR test when it was happening.
This happens to me. I used winmtr and sent logs. The support team always blames something else. There is no help. Maybe that’s why they have so many positions open for hiring.
I will no longer support this game and I feel like I have been swindled out of my money.
They will be happy to suspend you and take your SR.
Emongg stopped playing tonight because he was getting crazy packet loss in his games. (He was pulling up the net graph to show it)
No worries, glad the problem resolved. Many times it’s just a hop between you and the servers that is down for maintenance, so it re-routes you around it, causing latency issues or packet loss.
