I’m willing to bet that about 90% of people labeled as “smurfs” aren’t. I was in a game once where somebody accused one of our teammates, somebody who had THREE STARS under their border, of being a smurf. That’s not how smurfing works but nobody seems to care. It’s just the thing people want to blame losses on these days.

I only call ppl smurfs if they don’t have a single star but are like on fire all the time or soloing our team…
the devs explicitly declared smurf to not be cheating whatsoever
smurfing is fine. boosting is the issue. blizzard shouldn’t do anything about smurfing. if people want to make new accounts and play on them let them do it. it becomes a problem when there are good players that specifically play comp with lower ranks.
Erm. I mean… if you’re a smurf what are you exactly complaining about. You’re adding to the problem.
