Sounds like a reasonable plan, when the matchmaker is expecting you to carry matches for a bunch of potato’s then just don’t put forth the effort until it gives you good matches.

today I beat my record too, 11 defeats in a row + 1 because of a deserter, generally the MM gives me at least 1 easy victory after 7 or 8 humiliating defeats but today the MM allowed itself to went even further to test my resistance to frustration.
If it’s for me to spend money in the shop, it’s a bad method, because the more frustrated I am the less I want to spend money, this casual f2p player manipulation technique doesn’t work on me.

Yeah. Match making is rigged and you cant convince me otherwise. I won 5 games in a row yesterday. Today its been over 10 lost games.
Side note. I need two wins to unlock ram

Is this still a thing, even after the supposed fixes? I had some long losing streaks in February.
Yesterday I tried a new series in open queue, and I ended up with 5 wins (1 stomp) and 3 losses. As far as I can tell, at least 1 loss was winnable, the other 2 the enemy team was better but I felt like they had to earn the victory. Out of 5 wins, 2 went to extra time and were probably two of the best matches I ever had in OW2.
I hope it stays like this, but probably I’ve just been lucky.
My first matches in open queue was good too. Now it’s worse because no hard locked roles. But i didn’t play last couple days open queue. Maybe with new fixes in matchmaker it’s better now.
The worst part of this matchmaker is that it calibrates your matches from good to unplayable where you wish you had surrender button like in LOL.
It’s funny how initially games are good and then just going worse and worse.

Yeah that was exactly my experience, 2-3 good matches and then suddenly long streaks of unwinnable matches.
My last, let’s say, 10 matches have been more balanced. Stomps still happen, I can count at least one won and one lost. The almost perfect matches, as I said, were the two ended after extra time. Man, I love when they go to extra time, it feels like a real battle, people giving so much effort on both sides, it’s so epic and sweet when you win them.
See Blizzard? Matchmaker can give us these epic battles when it works correctly. Let’s say I still don’t trust it yet, but I’ll keep playing and see how it goes.

I keep losing and they keep putting me in games 2 ranks higher than I should be. It’s feels really bad.

Ive thrown from diamond to bronze and couldnt even get a 30 games lose streak, thank that losers queue XD

I dont even play my main where i care about climbing.
Just play another role you dont care for and tdm if you care about your mental health.
That way you can do whatever you want and no loss will affect you.
Dude it’s a joke. My duo partner has to put up 25k healing and 40 elims. I have to go 40-2 with the most damage… only to ALWAYS get a healer with 3k heals and 14 deaths. Only to win 50%.
Rigging it SO hard.

Overwatch 2 is the most unbalanced game ever, I won like 30x ranked down, and lost 30x and rank up, you start to play cs go on faceit and you will see the meaning of balance sense, also make every player leave blizzard game base to pugb, cs go, for the sake of people health.
Come back of the loosing streak after one easy victory. it gets boring so predictable.
In fact in each match there is a teammate who is useless, plays worse than his feet, and only charges the opposing ultimates.
Which gives a series of unwinnable 4vs6 matches.
It happens so often that the evidence can’t be denied. Except by the liars at ABK but I do not work in this company, and would never want to work there
Sad thing is for me loss or win reguardless of streak or not is just boring. I think that hurts the game even more then the bad match maker does.
For me when ever i would play anything else with my friends i always felt like id be haven way more fun on ow then the game im playin with my friends. Now 10 seconds into a match im like i could be doin anything other the ow an be way more entertained.
