I don’t care about cosmetics, they could charge $100 for all I cared, I only care about the game play. The only thing I could see myself actually being tempted to buy are taunt emotes.
That said, not sure I’ll continue playing anyways once OW2 rolls out. Not a fan of the 5v5 game play.
I’d pay 100$ for that hyper rare Dva mythic++ skin lol.
Depends on the skin design but I for one would have zero issue paying 30-40$ on a mythic skin.
Unless you’re a collector of all skins, it shouldn’t matter much given you’re likely to buy one skin for the hero you main and maybe one more tops.
No way I’d be buying them just to have them in general.
Got to save it for the important characters you play.
Not really - it’s all optional. Don’t like it don’t buy it.
Btw $9.99 for an epic is fine, the one we just got is an epic. I’d have to decide if a Legendary to Mythic would have to be good for me to buy them though.
Don’t forget you are not supposed to own everything in live-service model…
With OWL legendary skins set at $10, and the only other more expensive skins being the Mercy Pink skin ($15 charity) and Brig’s Medic skin ($12-15), I’m sure there’ll be some sticker shock if they try to get away with a $19 price tag for the same quality.
$19-20 seems more fitting for a Mythic skin given the pricing structure already set by OW1 standards, and with one Mythic skin per battle pass, that’s roughly $116/year or just under $10/month for those skins. The $30 price tag puts it at $173/year or $14/month, and that’s not including the cost of the premium battle pass or any other cosmetics they’ll put on sale.
This i a part to make you go “oh i know that” it doesn’t matter if anyone does or not
was this it?
this was the list for 1 set of options?
cause if so this is super loaded.
So basically the goal here is to set a bad option intentionally, a second option like meh, so when you get to the new thing their price point doesn’t seem so bad.
this is normal in predatory systems, you make a crap option look like a good option by surrounding it with worse options. they are only tracking people who clicked their goal and who didn’t, thats it.
It didn’t ask you several prices for 1 tier? like epic at 2.99, 5.99, 9.99?
There’s a perfect price point somewhere. If you set the price to $100 and only 10 people buy it, it’s a lot less than if you charged $10 and 1000 buy it.
