When D.Va ejects, she chooses her landing spot. It works exactly like Doomfist’s ult aiming reticle, except it’s 2 seconds in duration. She aims where she comes down. Smart D.Va can use this to, say, land up on the high ground, and use the terrain to their advantage in other ways. This would make her slippery as hell especially if it was paired with the second buff suggestion…

Set the ultimate cost of Call Mech to 105.3. Force the enemy team to prioritize D.Va, or she gets mech back. Punish teams that try to exploit the eject mechanic by toying with D.Va to stagger her respawn.

Make Light Gun super annoying. Make it cause minor knock back and massive screen shake against the target being fired on.
The general idea for all of these buff is to make Pilot D.Va a desirable feature for the D.Va player and their team, instead of a boon for the enemy team.
Also, if your counter argument for any of these suggestions is that “players will TRY to get de-meched on purpose”, stop and reflect for a moment how BAD that means her mech kit actually is; you’re basically proving the point and admit that D.Va’s abilities are THAT terrible.

Calldown MEKA allows you to swap to any of the 5 members of the MEKA squad.

i mean, she’s already getting a second life if you can protect her, letting anyone in your team effectively have a “resurrect” for her if they play well with her meka being destroyed
like, she died
a normal hero would be dead, end of story, unless a mercy used her res on them
everything that happened to her, CC, ults, anything, and everything, is basically ignored once that yolk pops out of that egg for them to squish
why would she get two lives, and the ability to have… any of these options mentioned
baby dva is fine, everything with that concept is basically fine
it’s definitely her meka that needs the help, as across the board, even ignoring dva mains, she’s a bit of a joke atm, with her only reason for being picked if at all is because she can eat things

if she’s not being picked for a better reason, then why buff her where she doesn’t need it, if literally your own suggestion is “you won’t pick her for baby dva”
so… why pick her at all, still? even with all 3 of these suggestions
it’s just odd
it definitely shouldn’t be baby dva that gets buffed

What’s worse, rewarding D.Va for dying or rewarding the enemy team for not killing her? I say the latter.

I’m a bit confused- where did you come up with such a number? What is the normal numerical value for the ultimate cost of Call Mech? (Or perhaps could you describe your change as a percentage of the current ultimate charge needed? We shouldn’t have to look up these rather obscure internal reference numbers. 
)

The only buff I want for baby D.va is a Sit emote and the Dance emote that wasn’t released.
P.S. For those of you that does not know about it, search on youtube for the out of mech dance. I WANT IT.

I reduced it by 2/3rds.
It would charge in a third of the time.

Buffing baby D.Va really isn’t the way to go. If they want to make it so she can’t get hell staggered any more they should just give her an ability called “recall” where she teleports out and goes to the respawn screen - a bit more friendly sounding than suicide.
Ultimately she is a tank, so her ability to play the role of a tank needs to be improved.

Getting them to add a brand new move to D.Va’s already packed kit seems unlikely.
She’s already got a lot of stuff going on. The problem is, individually none of it is really strong or anything special and it all fights with itself and lacks synergy. On the other hand, they’ve tried buffing every existing aspect of her, only to roll it back months later, and always to the detriment of the whole kit.
Or better yet, just roll back her nerfs.
I’m tired of my game being deformed to the benefit of idiot Damage players who are mad they don’t get free kills just by making eye contact across the map.

Considering D.Va was the best tank in the game for over a year, I dont think we get to complain tbh

Just Make baby dva a hitscan …
I’m not a fan of this idea.
That’s just way too low.
To be honest, I think the current amount of needed ult charge is fine as it it for call mech.
That’s a massive no thanks from me.
The only buff baby Dva need are emotes imo.
Maybe a faster fire rate as well.
Other than that do I rather see her mech be buffed.
Nahhh Zen soldier and Genji are much worse
And she’s about to become a lot better this next patch so idk
