Witnessed something I don’t think I see or hear too often which is 3-way hero voice lines from the same team. I was playing Doomfist and had an Ana and Moira on my team. My Ana nanoed me and Doom says something along the lines of “Moira, we must invest in this Nano tech!”
I was wondering if there were any more interactions that anyone noticed that were hero specific. I found them kinda cool and realize they are probably pretty rare.
kiriko has one when you have both gengu and hanzu on the team and I think JQ has one when the team is all female. It is not quite the same but still requires more than 1 other hero to trigger.
Bap has one if you have all talon teammates.
“Well, this is awkward. Nervous laugh Are you still mad at me? Don’t answer that…”
Lifeweaver has one if you multiple builders on a team
“All right, inventors, let’s put our contraptions into action!”
I never realized that is what triggers it.
Generally they’re lore based. Reaper has one that triggers with the Blackwatch heroes (Moira, Genji + Cassidy), Brig has some when she’s partnered with Bastion and some other heroes as well as Rein+Torb together, Kiriko has some with Genji + 1 and so on.
If a character has spent a lot of time with one or more characters in lore, they’ll usually have one or two. Kiriko + Genji is telling the third person about how Genji tripped on his sword (and their response is they make fun of him), Brig + Torb is with an Omnic hero where Brig tells Torb to be nice to them.
I’ve heard of a few of these. I guess I should have specified if there were more that were ability specific? Like you get a Genji and Hanzo ulting at the same time, does that cause something?
There’s an adorable one that can happen if you have Weaver, Rein, and Cass
LW: “You’re so old-fashioned, Reinhardt. A hammer! How marvelous!”
Rein: “I suppose you think I should have a giant laser gun.”
LW: “No! Lean into it! Get Lindholm to build you one of his big robotic horses!”
Cass: “… What did you just say?”
There are a bunch. None for Genji + Hanzo ulting that I can see (I’m not checking everything, that takes WAYYYYY too long), but Doomfist has a line where if he kills a nano-boosted Pharah he comments that he’s bested two Amari’s at once, and Genji has a line where he kills another Nanoboosted Genji using ult.
My favourite one is a start-up one where if you’re playing JQ with two shimadas on the team she threatens to knock their heads together if they don’t get along.
