3 slash to kill support with genji blade, 5 to 6 if they get pocketed

with nano blade its an easy two swing dash combo kill
Topics like this is why the S9 changes are what they are. DPS still complaining is like winning a lottery and being unhappy about the need to open a bank account. I swear they will need to completely destroy the game to the point of nobody playing it to stop DPS complains. Because then there will be nobody playing left to complain.

Burst dps lost this patch sustain dps won genji is a bust dps. And hes been a nano blade bot for a while and now he cant even do that all to effectively.
but they have the passive so the follow up is easier than before where the ridiculously high healing from supports kept them on lifesupport
Follow up with the higher hp with no damage boost makes it so the 20% is nothing for burst dps as it doesnt brake any damage thresh holds all the burst healing still heals enough to stop kills. So no it doesn’t help with follow up for burst heros just sustain heros.

More specifically on this point:
2 slashes and a dash will do 270 damage, enough damage to kill a standard 250 health target.
But with the reduced slash time of .7 seconds, versus the old .9, genji can get out those 2 slashes in 1.4 seconds, versus the old 1.8. Add in the instantaneous nature of dash (along with the reset), and Genji actually has a lower potential time to kill than he did before when he “only” required 2 slashes.
Dash is not instent it has a .3 second active time that you can dk anything else
Not to mention dash is not only for damage its also his approach tools as well the dash bug thats still not fixed
They buffed the hitbox, the projectile size, new reduce healing passive and DPS are still complaining. Lmao.

Everyone got that so its a 2 way streat second the new passive is very situational andm ost people dying is from them standing out in the open and not the new passive plus burst dps dont get as much value as sustain dps do from the passive on top support still have insanly high value abilities that even with the 20% anti heal are still crazy good pull lamp and suzu are all good and suzu got buffed because now it basicly always does 88 healing so 8 more healing from base

sounds like you have to actually be good at genji instead of being carried by crutchblade.
It has a .3 second duration (moves at 50 meters per second. This is why it travels 15 meters). It happens instantly however.
Or its that the buff in practice does very little and genjis never been a crutch character. When an ult has multiple training maps for it its not a crutch. Genjis low d tier this season
Yes but if they get 21 hp which bap ana kiriko weaver brig mercy lucio(with amp) and even zen can all do in the time of his 2 slashs it will still take 3 even with dash in practice this patch is a nerf for genji
Sure, but wasnt this true for old blade as well? With old blade he also had a 20~ hp “over kill”, so if they got 21 hp in that time frame, hed need a 3rd slash. Only with new blade, hes getting that 3rd slash out faster. Still a faster time to kill, isnt it?
theres trainng maps for mercy genjis fine, youre just entitled and wont except anything less than him being hard meta, doom mains are the only thing keeping genji mains from being the most entitled edgelords in the OW community
Yes and its why old naked blade was a bad ult not trash like phrah hanzo or cassady but not good nano blade was good because it gave you so much extra damage you could actually get kills in higher ranks but even then kiriko and illari or ana or bap and combo of those 4 could keep you from killing with 1 ability when using 2 ults.
Yes but naked blade still sucks like it did last season the problem i what they should have done was shorten the activation time and up it to 125 so you have 50 damage buffer with slash.
For mercy ult theirs training maps for her ult i would love to see one i know of ga maps but no valk maps
Lol im a support main 1 and 2 i want popular heros like rein genji and mercy good because its more fun when people can play what they like and not the boring meta
