I am honestly done with ideas or creating topics about them as you will never get response from devs, they maybe listen few popular streamers and thats all.
I feel like they are designing things without thinking what can actually happen. Its like they decided to have role q and were like “lets see how it will work, if there will be issues we will fix them in next months” instead of trying to find solutions to problems you can predict before implementing role q 222. They even said themselfs that we will have long waiting times. They knew it, and yet they didnt do anything about it. Not even give us someting to play while we search for damn match 15 minutes. Isnt that kind of lame?
I mean what you just said is all speculation right. I think they do consider the forums, I have seen popular threads in all blizzard games that have updates address those issues. It’s just not something that can be instant. Also, we only see the tip of the iceburg with these issues as compared to a dev who has been working on this for probably years.
Anybody joining the queue is already on the priority queue though. The matchmaker puts you into the first acceptable match it can create. In order for some faster method of queuing to exist you’d have to intentionally slow down the queue of everyone else (which is a whole lot more people than the number of people in one match with a leaver).

They put more work into the role queue system than anybody on the forums can claim. Jeff confirmed they had been considering the ideas for over a year, but were unsure because of the potential problems that came with the imbalance in role interest. If there was some kind of easy fix they would have already done it. They actually did decrease the queue time to be much faster just before adding role queue so the queue would be shorter.
I’m one of the people that is of the opinion that role queue is a system the game should have had sooner. Theoretically if the queue time was instant for all roles I think we could both agree that it would be an improvement to the game. The problem isn’t with role queue itself; it’s with the difference in role interest.

Dont tell me its hard to let people play for example ffa while searching for game. Simply change skirmish mode into ffa or at least change the skirmish maps to small ones like antarctica. This must be super easy change for devs.
