I think her damage before the changes were fine. I would just lower her damage to what it used to be but give her an extra 5 meters with her beam to compensate. I don’t understand why moira would get a buff to her orbs and her beam damage at the same time. The orb damage buff was more than enough

No, I don’t think so. They buffed her damage on beam and its acquisition radius, nothing about the orb.

You don’t want to give obvious disadvantages when you use a skill, that’s bad balance, and honestly obvious advantages aren’t good for the game either. JQ’s Shout when it was released is an example of this.
Moira fade is an example of advantage and disadvantage, when she uses it she cleanses herself, but if she uses it without thinking she has no way to escape
it’s possible they nerf fade to 8s, but unlikely since most escape abilities have less than 7s cd but there are still those with more than 7s, so who knows

Honestly, Moira doesn’t need nerf (although I think all escape CDs need to be nerfed for 1/2 s) her damage is low without the orb and with the orb her sustein is low so she has to exchange damage for sustein , if she chooses damage, you kill her or she has to run away, if she chooses sustein she doesn’t have enough damage to kill you before someone helps you or you kill her
moira’s advantages are Aoe healing, sustein and mobility, damage is not, it is if you don’t know how to defend yourself
she needs almost 4s (without the orb to kill someone) while most heroes need almost 2s
Simple tip in 1x1 against her
Moira beam doesn’t miss the target, it never has, even before the change so in 1x1, if you can, get closer and move as little as possible, after all she won’t miss and not moving will make it easier to hit her, as well as at close range (just be sure make sure no one from outside gets in the way or you’re an easy target)

Yeah, I’ve heard that advice a few times (but it’s a good reminder), and I’m starting to put it in practice.

I don’t know. I think I have a severe case of Dunning-Kruger. I vastly overestimate my knowledge of the game, which brings me to believe that I can “enrich” the world with my “wonderful” ideas (that are usually dung).
There are already so many posts with interesting suggestions about heroes, I don’t think mine are really needed or relevant.
