why aren’t all game modes (including 2 cp) added into quick play? I get that you don’t want to have them in competitive and that’s fine, but I really think 2 cp should be added back into quick play. The maps are beautiful and a lot of people actually enjoyed the mode (i like 2cp way better than flashpoint)

yeah i love the 2cp maps. i miss them so much! but hey they lisen to the streamers… they know whats best for overwatch i guess…

I’ve always loved Temple of Anubis. So even if they don’t have the game mode in, I have always wanted the add that map back in.

I miss it considering they were playable maps for Syemmetra but you can imagen how it will suck to have all those broken picks on the second-point defense during overtime.
anubis, hanamura > any ow2 new map and almost every ow1 map. i still dont know what is the official reason 2cp was removed, wasnt the mode hated due to double shield? well there is only one tank, why not bring it back? flashpoint and push suck so much
Because 2CP fundamentally did not work in OW as OW does not work well when a game can end in 2 fights (due to ult economy being a thing) and as such they keep it relegated to the Arcade mode with other game modes that do not work in QP/Comp, such as Deathmatch or CTF, which does sometimes get a gimmick Comp season like Lucioball.
Hanamura was awful. Anubis was pretty good tho.
according to the devs, when they tested 2CP gamemode with 5v5 they decided it was over too quickly, not giving a chance for anyone to actually make big plays, it was always 1 team totally stomping the other.
Which is true to every-gamemode with 5v5 but they ignored that problem
hamaura is beautiful, point B is amazing, have a lot of flank routes and a lot of cover points, point A and the big wood door is a problem tho. anubis the same, great design, bot aesthetic and gameplay, but point A is a little less problematic. and a shame such important map for the lore like anubis is gone but we have uuuhhh portugal, junker town again, another italy map without italian character and the map that looks nothing like peru

I think they could add 2cp back right now and people would play it. I never had mass leavers in quickplay, so maybe we should just leave it out of comp?
