20min support queue?

I am a Mercy/Lucio support main and after season two came out my queue times are insane! Before, during season one, my queue times were 5 minute TOPS. Right now, my queue times are jumping between 5-7 minutes and 17-22 minutes.

Is anyone else having an issue with long, LONG, queue times?? I love this game but this is making me hate playing and it’s mind blowing to me. The devs must REALLY hate support players.

You have to include rank you are now and rank you had at the end of season 1. Big difference in queue times for different ranks. Also region you play in and time of day as well.

mine are longer but not quite that bad.

the only explanation is lack of players, since its obvious they are still filling matches with lower ranked players.

I’m getting 30 second queue times for supports, 3 mins for DPS and 4 for tanks. Idk what region you’re playing in but it sounds like Antarctica.

2-5 min queue time for me as support but the UI always say less than one minutes.

I was silver 1 at the end of season one and got bumped all the way down to bronze 5 at the very beginning of season two.

On console. Diamond end of season one, gold right now. Support queues are usually <1min. Tank and DPS are usually between 7 and 10 mins but I don’t play those roles.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. I’m currently B5 in NA.

Season 1 Support queue times were about 30 seconds (while I was in multiple divisions in Silver); now it’s 3 - 5 minutes, which, granted, are still pretty good, but it’s also a 500% - 1000% increase. :grimacing:

I suppose if everyone deranked and there’s nothing below bronze then there would be way more players in bronze than any other rank, so maybe that’s made queues longer in bronze for support. Although they say they don’t match on rank anymore only MMR, but I’ve almost certainly had much lower skilled players on both my team and the enemy team since the derank so like everything else I expect that is either broken or a lie.
