This is why I don’t even bother with comp on my PC most of the time. Solo queueing for Damage is around 20 min today, 12/2/23. That is completely unacceptable in my opinion. Not sure how to fix it though.

Depends on rank and mode I guess i can go 5-7 mins waiting on DPS. I am in Bronze on this account.
Easy, widen the acceptable MMR range. Quicker games, less quality though.
Can you give some details? What rank are you? What time was it when the 20-minute queue happened?
I rarely see queue time over 3-4 minutes, and I play both DPS and support.

Not him, but my dps has been sitting around high silver and low gold and I rarely get queues under 10 min. 20 seems somewhat average.
It’s Blizzard’s crappy hidden MMR system where they’ll only put you in a game if all the stars were perfectly aligned instead of just randomly matching you with other players around your SR as one would normally expect.
If there’s a significant gap between your hidden MMR and cosmetic SR, you’ll have to wait for ages to find a game.
