To do that, add some letters (only letters with no spaces) between these brackets. <…> You can see the brackets here because I put dots between them instead of letters. The brackets themselves and the letters in between them will be invisible in your actual post.

I get that the point of this was to tell people who didn’t know about the <> thing, but technically what you said is incorrect.

You still need to have at least 20 characters, you just don’t have to show all of them.
