2 additionnal slots in the wheel?

We only have 8 slots avaliable for the communication wheel, could we have maybe 10, or even 12 ? There has been so many new communication, and most of them are important, especially the You’re Welcome when you play healer.

And I know that you can still bind them to keys, but I play on console, and we don’t have that much keys to bind. I personally always have 2 empty buttons on every heroes except Mercy and Torbjörn because they need to swap weapons

Only 8? 8 is plenty. Would rather dev time go else where anyways

I agree, there are about 20 interactions and 8 slots so lets bring that topic to front page that Jeff will see it!

Maybe 12 could be even better, and I don’t really think it could be “Too much”, taking Apex as an example (A game that I like to take as example), we have like 12 Slots (I think) for the Voicelines, imagine if we could have at least 6 Voicelines or Emote slots !

That sure wouldn’t be useful, but it’d be actually fun lol

Imo 8 isnt enough, because there are now tons of useful interactions that we could use

also this wouldn’t be done by the balance team, probably by the art team UI design team…
what I mean is not all of the devs for this game would be working on just adding more slots

or wheel would be stay as now but instead of ‘thanks’ it would be button to interaction section where are all 12 custom interactions.

I more wonder why the voice lines and emotes are tied to the same limit count. Voice lines I get. But emote spam? That screws you up. Emotes should have no limit and not mess with voice lines. Also, voice lines should end interaction lines and talk over other interaction lines.

Honestly, here is how I would organise my Communication Wheel right now:

I’d remove the “Voiceline” and “Emote” ones, as you can access to a menu for each where you can have access to all the 4 equipped for each.

I’d have the “Fall Back”, “I’m on my way”, “You’re welcome”, “Yes”, “No”, “Sorry” and “Hello” since I’m playing Support, so doing a countdown for Coalescence isn’t really useful. But I’d also like to have “I’m ready”, unfortunately I can’t, since Hello, Sorry and You’re Welcome are MUCH MORE IMPORTANT
