So, im using a razer blade 15, with an hdmi going out to my viotek 1440p 144hz monitor. For whatever reason, overwatch wont recognize this and only has an option for 1440(60hz).
Ive looked through here and keep seeing people say you need a DP connection or a dixv or something, but that is just not the case. I play plenty of other games at 144hz 1440p, using this exact same setup.
My monitor settings, windows settings and graphics settings are ALL set to 1440p 144hz with no issue whatsoever.
Any possible help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: For anyone that finds this, i was able to override the global settings in my nvidia control panel to make the desired framerate 144hz. Once i did that, the setting showed up in overwatch. I selected it and then put my nvidia settings back to how they were and the reoslution stayed in game. I did also have to set the minimum resolution in gake to 100 percent to make it not look grainy
