I can’t tell if you’re joking or not because you have PSN account linked.
Honestly playing on Console feels like a ghost town except all the ghosts are tryhards, with only a few hundred ever having the audacity to actually turn their mic on, only to leave background noise and loud eating ringing in my eardrums.
I respecc all my fellow console players, its a harsh world out there.
Forcing to the players do 10 placement matches in quick-play can be a good start if the SMURF loses in purpose the 10 games to bash newbies. The new players can report him for gameplay sabotage and the new account get banned
you can just play dumb in qp. and then you get placed bronze and can stay therefore forever by stomping low skilled players and derank.
the system works in theory but can be abused…

I… would not do this. Intentionally playing bad is going to keep you matched against lower skilled people. You want the system to see that you’re way better than the people it matches you with so your MMR will update to avoid pairing you with or against them.
Also, even out of good intentions, playing worse on purpose is still throwing. You either throw as you are now, or suspend morals to get out of ruining others’ games.
Those are the quandries of smurf/alt accounts, and the consequences you have to live with.
Are you serious?? How? Doesn’t it bind to your gamer tag? And don’t you have to have xbox live or ps+ to play online? I don’t play console so idk but if thats true i’d throw my console ow in the trash lol.
If you own it, obviously you need to pay for online services (XBox Live or PS+) to play online. But you can make another account on that console and play the game. I have an alt account I only play Arcade with on PSN, and one for just QP.

Why does it have to be an either/or situation on extreme ends? I mean, definitely play to win in competitive. But QP and Arcade, just play for fun.
Make no mistake, I may not play my absolute best in QP, but that doesn’t mean I’m literally feeding, refuse to heal or kill, or stuff like that. I still contribute enough to be a valid player.
Competitive however… then it’s on. I am not holding back with what I intend to make my mains (Ana, Moira, Widowmaker, Ashe, and Mei)
This is also why I don’t understand why people want to increase the level after which you unlock competitive. It only means that honest alt accounts like mine (who don’t want to throw, nor completely dominate) are stuck in limbo for longer.
I also would not need an alt account if I could flex properly on a single account, and have different SR for different roles.
