100+ MS servers OCE Pingapore

Im constantly stuck in Singapore - pingapore servers and i don’t think there is enough complaints about this as we just suck it up and play but I’m sick to death of it!!
Ill get 1 in every 3 matches with 100 - 130+MS and its crap.
Please fix this, we need more complaints to get some sort of action.
Id rather sit in a 5 min que than get one of these servers. Help lads.

They will get the Aussie servers back up soon. But if you haven’t watched it, the devil may cry animated series is better than it has any right to be, so that could be your evening entertainment if they don’t get it up and running.

people keep saying that its not that bad and just to suck it up, but on my end its so bad i cant even navigate my way out of spawn through the rubber banding

there is actually 2 of those, might be a good idea to specify.

Bro acting like 5mins is alot of time. Thats literally less than my average.

If it makes you feel better i’m in sg but more than half my games i dont even get sg servers.

this sucks. join 3 qp games all good, ready and warmed up for comp, sg server, lame. even had 3 games in a row that were viet 300ms+. just lame. cant wait for BF6

Are you getting games in Iran or the middle of Siberia? Because that’s how crazy it is for anyone on the East coast or NZ to be placed in a Singapore server.

Singapore isn’t the end of the world for me anymore. I used to hate it, but now i’ve come to accept it. 110ms doesn’t feel so painful and dreadful anymore

I mean the servers i get are constantly jumping between sg/kr/jp and tw i believe or is it hk every other game.

That is more of an issue with aussie internet in general. Nobody gets good connection to you guys and you guys get bad connection to everywhere else.

Doesnt help that oce usually isnt populated enough to justify companies getting servers there and rather commonly forcefully group sea into oce servers.

Huh, thanks. I didn’t know there was more than one.

Ya there is an older one made around the third games release, it’s kind of a slice of life sort of a thing between the larger events of the games. It is consider canon and is directly referenced at the start of 5 via the phone call of the girl asking Dante to come to her birthday party. Who is a main character of the show.

So it is a relevant things fans might want to check out.

Be it both share the exact name as the original game. No subtitle to separate them.

And all three have Dante on the front cover.

So to someone new to the series, some wires might get crossed somewhere.

This is not an Aussie internet issue, it is Blizzard not creating enough server capacity for the amount of AUS / NZ players that want to play during peak times.

Aussie having terrible connection to everywhere else and everywhere else having terrible connections to aussie servers isnt a blizz thing. Thats a common issue that has been going on for like the past 2 decades already.

As for server capacity like i mentioned, it makes no logical sense for any company to waste money on servers for an extremely small population of players.

I’ve been playing OW2 since the very relase with around 110 ping at the start, then after season 4 or 5, +120 ping all my matches.

Get in line.

There already is a server. And if half of my games in a night aren’t on it, then the cost is justified. I would take another server in Java or the Northern Territory over this.
Imagine someone in London being forced to play competitive games in India. This is the most rudimentary QOL improvement.

You dont seem to get the point. There is not much benefit from the company’s pov to get more servers for a region for just a very small amount of players.

Also love how you convienetly ignore the part where i said i dont even get my local servers for more than half of my games. I’m literally constantly getting put in 4 different servers every other game unless i specifically only play during peak hours which increases the chances i get local servers.

This isnt a recent thing either, it has been a thing ever since ow1’s echo patch that removed regions.

You have a habit of telling me things I already know like they’re great insights. I’m saying firstly a) you don’t have player counts for the region not their internals, so you have no clue what cost/benefit is. B) If most players regularly get thrown the equivalent of London to West India then clearly their servers don’t even approach demand and the QOL of their product is being affected.
