100 million players!

Congratulations to the 1% of unique people who created accounts and the 99% smurfs/cheaters or both who make up the other 99% of accounts

Not sure why you need to troll bait.

You’re better than this.

I’m jokingly serious

I think everyone knows it means nothing more than 100m accounts created.

It’s just used for click bait headlines, and nothing more.

If you’re thinking too deeply about it, or trying to turn it into some troll post. Then you probably need to get out a little more.

and…blizz filling low rank teams with AI bots for faster Qs and to control your rank.

If we assume an average time to make one post is about 5 minutes, we can calculate the total time spent on 3850 posts:

3850 postsĂ—5 minutes/post=19250 minutes3850 postsĂ—5 minutes/post=19250 minutes

To convert minutes into hours, we divide by 60:

19250 minutesĂ·60=320.83 hours19250 minutesĂ·60=320.83 hours

Therefore, instead of posting 3850 times, one could spend approximately 320.83 hours outside touching the grass or “getting out more”

And… That isn’t a thing.

If you’re spending 5 minutes writing a post… You’re broken.

So many players that que times are 5-10 minutes on DPS and Support, somehow 3-4 minutes on tank

I’d say 85%-90% of the players who play this game think the matchmaker is bad. The others either just don’t think about it or work for blizzard.

So 100,000,000 players means around 90 million players think the matchmaking in OW is bad.

Imagine that, NINETY MILLION PLAYERS thinking the matchmaker is bad and yet the devs are still thinking it’s pretty good and people are delusional.

Probably 90% of people who play this game now won’t even know what a matchmaker is. It’s a FTP game whose audience is super casuals and children. The other 10% are jaded OW1 players who really need to face reality, except the game for what it has become or move on to something else.

Also. I’m willing to put money on that 100 million figure being all the accounts that have ever played either Overwatch or Overwatch 2. There’s certainly nowhere near that many people playing the game. At a guess it would be nearer 10 million total. Maybe 500k active worldwide. I’m in the UK and I run in to the same players day in day out in Plat… That just would not happen if there were millions of active players.
