100 Mbps good enough to stream?

Hey guys, I currently have horrible Internet. BUT my girlfriend and I are moving into town this week! We will have access to much better Internet, the fastest they offer is 100 Mbps, would that be good enough for both of us to stream at the same time? Thanks for the input

Easily, you should at least have a 10mb upload so you should be fine

I have 190 to 230mbs download and between 20 and 30mbs upload and I can livestream 1080p60 without a hitch. You should be fine.

For streaming you need to know your upload not download (generally 1/5 to 1/10th of your upload) , that being said I get 2-3 mbps and stream just fine.

What upload are they offering? Most popular site lets you stream at about 4000kbps anyway.

Slight offtop but even then stream looks awful, this is not enough for FPS games where entire screen keeps changing all the time.

Just be aware that the figure internet providers give you is almost definitely download speed and the upload speed will be a fraction of that. It’s probably still enough but its worth mentioning.
