100 kb/s dl speed just change it in settings downloads then

if you don’t want to install at 100 kb/s change it to 1000 kb/s if you want faster installation hey dont close this thread cuz im teaching people how to INSTALL 10 times faster. 100 kb/s is slow just manually configure it to install at 1000 kb/s instead of 100 kb/s it wont install fast unless you configure it yourself.

To further clarify what OP is saying:

Battle.net is set to 100kb/s by default for Pre-release content downloads. You need to set it to blank.

  • Go to Settings in Battlenet.
  • Go to Downloads
  • Scroll down a bit and under Network Bandwith you’ll see Pre-release Content, simply remove the 100 from the box as it limits your download speed to 100kb/s

This also took me a while to figure out since I thought the servers were flooded with everyone downloading it.

Yeah, clear the number value and it will download at the max speed possible to you.

I actually tried putting in 1000/kbs and the download speed dropped.

Just leave it blank

Click on your download speed “Modify bandwidth settings”
Then uncheck the “Limit download bandwidth”.
Boom fixed

I figured this out when pre downloading the game today. I thought it was super weird that it’s at 100 kbs so I thought I must’ve changed it on accident but I guess not. Dumb speed to have as a default even for pre downloads.
