10 months later, cree still has 225

I guess I would say that 225HP isn’t reallly that big of a deal. If anything I would like to see “HIGH NOON” where targets are acquired FASTER. Since EVERYONE in the match dives out of the way the moment they hear that Iconic “its hiii…” (GONE). poof. nobody to be found! Especially since the ult itself really has such a TINY niche usage. Even when it comes to waiting long enough to even USE it. Since everyone expects it.

I could find myself holding that ult almost an ENTIRE match, since folks keep an eye out behind them any time a McCree drops behind.

When Dead Eye is in use. If there are barrier heroes in play. It won’t be viable at all. So maybe even something that BREAKS through all barriers. IDK.

And yet your winrate on McCree is 41%. How comes? Bias. People like you don’t want to face the reality where McCree isn’t actually easy. You can win teamfights with every hero. Some cherry picked fights mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Yes and McCree needs to go through different thought processes if he wants to stay alive and keep doing his job. If you really think

is the only thing you have to do as McCree then your 41% winrate definitely makes sense.

McCree has to constantly think what angles are best where he can peel for his team, more importantly, his supports. He needs to make sure he can be healed all the time as he has no escapes. He has to make sure he can actually contribute to the fight all the time. He has know where all the enemies are and what routes flankers can take because all of them can kill him in a blink of an eye. As he has no escapes he needs to have a plan B all the time. What do I do if I get dived now? Can I use my flashbang now (although according to many on these forums fb doesn’t have a cd and you can just spam it) or will I leave me too open and make me a free kill? Can I go for a flank or is it too risky for me or my teams backline? And so on.

There’s so much more you have to constantly be thinking about because unlike almost every single other hero. McCree has no get out of jail cards. FB is the closest thing to it and it only works against a single attacker and only if you have time to react, hit it and they don’t have a way of dodging it. Other heroes have much better ways of keeping themselves alive that don’t rely on their enemies making mistakes.

But why, brig gets countered by every hero.

(Let me use your guys logic here)

Ana, Widow, ashe, mccree, tracer, rein, mercy, Phara, echo, reaper, mei, hog, sombra, hanzo, torb, junk, bastion, lucio, zen, Bap.

They can easily outrange her and avoid her cc.

Brig gets hard countered by almost every hero!!!

Cree is the easiest DPS hero in the entire game.

Good. He needs it.

Overbuff, Overbuff, Overbuff.

Bastion has a higher winrate than Mccree therefore Bastion is more broken according to you. Next time make an arguement that makes sense.

Winrate doesn’t matter in a vacuum. A hero has to be picked enough to matter before winrate is worth discussing.

That was not my argument.

One Guy said that a popular gm doom main switches to mccree for easy wins.

Yet he has a negativ winrate on mccree.

Thus his statement makes no sense to me.

Winrate doesnt mean anything. If you lose thats on you. Not on the character. Get good.

I guess Doom doesn’t need 250 to do his job reliably either then. Nerf Doomfist down to 200 HP. He gets shields, so he should be fine.

You want me to get good for the entire playerbase?. You sure have a lot of faith in me, random stranger. I don’t know if I could up my personal winrate so high that the entire playerbase can go to the moon. But I can do it because you believed. :cloud: :rainbow: :star:

I lost faith in you the moment you used winrates as an argument.

Using unreliable statistics to back up your points.

With so many leavers, so many unbalanced maps and modes, so many games where people are throwing or you get randomly qued with a level 1 whos playing OW for the first time.

Very reliable stats. Still doesnt objectively change McCrees abilities.

Mccree is a lot closer to being balanced than he used to be. Probably still overtuned but no longer overpowered and not really worth crying about. Equally Doom isn’t as undertuned as many like to assert although his buff is deserved.

However, lets not pretend that Mccree is more difficult to play than Doom. Assuming equal skill right now in most situations most players would find it easier to play Mccree than Doom. Not in all situations, but in most.

Pictured here is smugus, didn’t readus in his natural habitat. Watch as he tells someone winrate is unreliable after they posted about how winrate isn’t a reliable statistic when viewed all by itself. He wants to take a more extreme stance (total disregard instead of caution) while misrepresenting another’s argument, so he elicits his bird call of the condescending strawman.

Let’s see how what he does next.

Sounds like you’re so bad at McCree that you need 225 hp to do your job properly, even though you have it handed to you with flashbang being such a braindead ability lmao.

Yeah, I main mccree cuz hes so easy and broken. lol

I think Doomfist has the higher floor so most players would find McCree easier. I do think Cree’s ceiling is higher, but less people play at that level.

crees ceiling isnt higher than doomfists.

I mean…In most situations off meta heroes do generally always have higher floors than the meta picks. They’re less consistent for most players, that’s why they’re off meta. Excluding heroes such as Tracer who are only viable at the top.

Oh yes for sure when you’re a melee character 24/7 with a bigger hitbox than Zarya btw.
