How are we supposed to rank out when every other match some idiot leaves us high and dry no more than a minute into the game? Mostly it has been tanks that are leaving, and that has a massive impact on being able to win. There was one match where I just got to the area to wait for the enemy doors to open and a guy leaves… before the doors open… and it keeps us in the match until the entire thing is over. WTF is the point? Why is it programmed this way and not just hand out a draw to both teams?

I do like the idea of handing out a draw to both teams, but what if we take it a step further and gave the leaver a loss.

I would like to see much more severe leaver penalties in the game
the longer the leavers are in penalty time-outs from the game, the less they are in matches, with yet another opportunity to leave

This is comp, isn’t it three strikes you’re done for the season? First leave is like a 15 min penalty or something, second leave is longer, then third is done for, isn’t it?
I never understood why the system punished the teammates of the leaver. Their wasted time was punishment enough. Just punish the leaver with an autoloss and a leave penalty, give the leaver’s teammates loss forgiveness, or the equivalent of a draw, for them and a victory to the other team at the end of the match.
