It’s “forcing”. Rather than have player actually switch to Tank when the situation calls for it. They’re stuck as DPS. You’re forcing them into their roles rather letting them adapt. And for what? Because you want more tanks even tho they’re such a pain to use that no one wants them?
Decisions at the start of the match changes as the match goes on. As mentioned above, i start as solo tank in a fast game, and when we start getting overwhelmed, one of the DPS switches to an off tank. Someone at the start is the healer, they switch out because they can’t cut it, someone else picks healer, that’s their own choice and i see this happen all the time. I especially see it when i’m doing endorsements and commonly see several teammates taking on both healer and DPS. That’s choice, and you’re taking that choice away from them.
