Personally I feel the heroes we had are fine.
In the end adding new heroes is just a way to make the game relevant, marketing wise that is.
The only new hero I fell in love from the start is Ashe. Though I will admit that adding her was not a must.

She is great. I only dislike her ulti. I don’t think thats an ulti this game needs nor does it really make the game interesting. I would of perfered an ulti that uses sound, like a sonic cream black or knock back. hence Echo.
FYI. IN a stream video, jeff said that they were thinking about overwatch league as they designed this hero so that pretty much sums up their motives for everything.
How good this will be for overwatch league etc.
So the game itself isnt important nor the players… just overwatch league.

At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter much because you can only choose two of each role even if you had a hundred supports in the game. Only two can be played in the game at the same time.
It’s more about people wanting the new shiny thing to be the role the thought in their headcanon.
MIG should know by now though, they already clarified no new heroes will be coming this year.
So we really should be hoping for is reworks.

To be honest, no hate. I think her ultimate is stupid… at least the way they approached it. Would of been better as an ability to copy other abilities if anything. But in thsi kind of game, i find it very… uncreative?
It just breaks her gameplay flow. its the onlything off in her kit… feels highly “Forced”
But again
They were only thinking about overwatch league so yeah.

Pretty much, i mean cmon. League actually does Reworks and makes their char’s design flow with each of its abilities.
Overwatch just changes some abilities around and calls it a rework.
If you rework a char, everything changes while trying to keep the theme and concept.
not just copy another char’s primary, remove one and give it to a new hero, and move other abilties around.

I pretty much gave up. I have lost hope in blizzard with all their games already. OW, just lost it. Basic same reason sym got treated like trash. It was to prepare the game for 222, sigma, and echo. So obviously they don’t care.
Waiting for WOW shadowlands to lose hope again
and waiting for Diablo 4 to make me lose hope again.

I only like OW cuze of the classes. More of a magic user kind of person.
So lit waiting for valorant and seeing if its something i might like? But i don’t got my hopes up since they are making the TIme to kill so fast, i hate that part already =/.

Dude this game used to be soo good when they focused on the casual players.
Now its all about Overwatch league. Nothing matters anymore.
Just look how they treat their chars – They have everything planned out in advanced and pushed sym around like a rag doll so she doesn’t interfere with their new setups and hero releases <.<

I generally just said i like her design. Just felt her ultimate was forced in her kit and ruins her game-play style.
Like literally its just a bad ultimate for this game and for her design, perioid. But thats my opinion. Like where have i said anything about her being support?
And it doesn’t matter. Jeff said they designed her this way while thinking about Overwatch league so nothing we say pretty much matters anyways
