Consequence of role queue. We were warned.
We needed role queue, now we need something else!
Good luck figuring that one out. There really isn’t a non “remove role queue” solution to queue times for dps.

Supports are generally boring, and the continuous nerfs to healing without any compensation buffs to utility only add onto that.
Tanks are damage/CC sponges, self-explanatory.
On top of that, there are too many DPS characters.
I swear to god this game is the most imbalanced game I’ve ever played. Maps, characters, roles.

Role queue is ridiculous. It is not balanced, and queue times are high because there are only a few hundred players left in certain regions of the game. Revert 222 and people will come back.
All they need to do is crank up the damage on Rein/Sigma/Orisa, raise up their barrierhp by 25% and if there’s two of those Tanks on the same team, then reduce the barrier strength by 25-40%.

every game has this… even when tanks are “fun”, even though that is literally so subjective it can’t be taken that seriously
i’ve actually thought about something similar, i still agree with 222, even if they’re bad at… balancing it, however, but i used to think of a type of system where there were role weights, so you could get the utility of some heroes in the same role, but not the same effectiveness if you wanted to bloat it
We have never needed nor wanted role queue. It has done nothing but hide the fact that the devs can’t balance. If the game was balanced, comps would have been also.
just play something in the game browser it goes by pretty quick

There’s almost literally no way to balance the game in such a way that there wouldn’t be a defined metagame or a hero who is even as low as 0.01% stronger being used over others.
I mean look at Zarya and D.va. Even though statistically Zarya is the better hero, with one of the highest winrates in the game, D.va is perceived to be better because of OWL hero usage, and thus, is used more in the meta on ladder in ranks where Meta actually matters

One can complain about many things, but “maps”?!? You may or may not like the layout of the maps, but they are astoundingly balanced, all in all.
