Personally I think they are the worst part of OWL and I tune them out if I can. Just so fake in their excitement, talk too much, make bad calls and miss key details of a broadcast.
I will give them they are half decent in the after show talks when they have all the footage and info in front of them. But he live play by play is lacking.

Hex today was the most genuine I have ever seen a caster be hence why I have elevated him to god tier
It will likely get better if OWL last a few years. Just like in places like the NFL the best broadcasters are former players/coaches. I believe Hex used to be on a team right? So I imagine he’d be better than the ones I really noticed in the first few seasons.

I have no problem with them personally, in fact their plat chat podcast quite amusing. Sideshow is quite knowledgeable of the game. He seems more fit for an analyst role than actually casting. Bren seems half-interested a lot of times (in his defense the games often warrant it.)
Bren adds little analytical value to the cast, and Sideshow holds it back when Bren is there. They have more value off malding somewhere than they do on the cast.
The other British casters are better at balancing between entertainment and actually saying something meaningful.
The casters are alright, but the Avast companion stream is the way to watch it.
