Not gonna disagree there.
Personally I wouldn’t mind the 30sec queue times to play Mei.
And a lot of DPS players would rather play Mei instead of queuing 10-15 minutes for DPS. So this actually could lower queue times for everybody.

lol no, rein would be even more op
Is that even possible technically speaking?
Probably. Brig shieldbash already interacts with barriers as if they were brick walls.
Bash and Hook are hitboxes moving through space. How you figure this is gonna work with players aiming somewhere?
It’s all raytracing, with collision models.
Just some extra things to consider as an obstacle.
I like mostly this, it might be a bit jankey and weird at least at first but assuming it could be done smoothly this is fine. I would say though while I do not like playing against Mei spectating a high skilled Mei and the strategy involved there is something I like
Bit this the kind of nerf we all like (as much as anyone likes nerfs). It’s a minor change that’slimited in scope, impactful but doesn’t radically change her playstyle for 95% of players and does nothing to her kit itself.
Mei is tough as she was awful for ages but the nature of her kit does mean you don’t want her in the majority of games as its not that fun for players. We want her effective but niche.
I don’t think that’s feasible with Overwatch without some major rework of the coding and the way wall works and interacts with the game engine.
Just my wild guess though.
All in all, seems like there’s simpler ways to go about this Wall problem.
Well, it’s probably something a senior programmer could handle in an afternoon.
