Every single time I take PoA thinking I can get free stacks in lane the guy I thought I’d be laning against is doing some weird PvE jungle stuff and my lane ends up being empty or having a Valla in it.
Truth!
he also beats all the vikings, however eric can stay in the same lane as thrall indefinitely unless the player is dumb and tries to fight thrall in the middle of the lane rather then in the range of towers.
Thrall loses to a good probius solo lane.
I’m curious. Who would win in a 1v1 Thrall or Orphea?
I would say it’s a close call and it comes to the point who is running out of mana first
Thrall is easier, because Orphea has to hit all her abilitys to get the mobility she needs and also Thrall as a bruiser is more tanky than her. Even though I know how Orphea’s W can hit hard melees, but I still think Thrall is favoured, because he is easier.
Orphea has the highest self-sustain of all ranged assassins. She can stay in her lane against most of the bruisers. But I haven’t played Thrall much. I don’t have a hand for playing him effectively. Hence my question
why mention dual soaking anyway? thrall has barely any waveclear he s not good at dual soaking. i also dont agree with everything on ur list
zag and artanis must be rly bad to lose vs thrall…u gave fenix already a question mark, i dont see how fenix get outplayed ever. raynor is also questionable he got enough tools to keep thrall at bay and enough self sustain to not mind the q harass.
but this i only if it s 1v1 for most of early and midgame which u dont see much at higher ranks.
According to Heroes profile
Among all heroes, the one with the best matchup against Thrall is Tyrael, with 79%.
arent the match numbers way to low to make an educated statement about this?
This is hard to be more misleading.
Low sample size and doesn’t consider the current win rate of the hero.
You might as well say that you need to pick a high win rate hero and that it counters a lower one.
Saying that it’s 79% for Tyrael is some kind of bad comedy.
It’s all we have. Unless you want to include bronze and wood numbers. Which I usually don’t.
But it doesn’t bring the # of games much higher. Thrall isn’t very popular right now.
Thrall and Leoric CAN beat Artanis but it is not a counter pick imo and I feel like putting Art on this list is erroneous.
I don’t think the point of the list was to draft counters, but what you can and can’t do as Thrall in lane, especially given that he has fallen out of the meta quite a bit recently. And yes, Thrall does beat Artanis in lane, but only if he talents to do so.
Everyone beats Thrall, he’s a duelist, not good for solo lane.
I still say it’s a skill match vs Block Q and a time period before 13 for Swappy Stack and not a gaurantee
Ho ku, it’s a bash Thrall thread, that’s obvious to anyone.
Eh, by mid-late game, they aren’t as likely to be facing off directly, and since Thrall is a bit stronger early game, if the skill is equal, he will win. I mean, sure, I can beat bad Thralls, but to be fair, I can beat almost any hero if the person playing them is bad!
This is bait thread to bash Thrall!
It seems you don’t know Shadowmere. This is not a bash Thrall Thread
