Whats your experience with Auduin

Pretty Much?

S-tier with a strong frontline. I’m talking 2x tanks + a bruiser kinda strong.
Divine star does amazing healing, you can afford to be aggressive, and you undo mistakes on your bruiser’s parts.

B-tier in comps where the frontline is weak. He can’t do much if he’s personally surrounded, and flash heal doesn’t do good enough on it’s own if you can’t safely sneak auto-attacks in.

I wish HW:S was better though, it’s a serious CC magnet

Mixed. some people play him really well others not so much. I don’t understand why I get yanked out of my haunting wave. Especially when they are closer to the enemy then I would have otherwise ended up.

heal bot that I feel is a smidge undertuned healing (would like to flash proc hot be stronger), both ults are underwhelming outside of real niche areas (would like to see lightbomb always give a shield on dely with no heroes damaged modifier), trait is great, no wave clear what so ever (would like to see E do damage to creeps)

Overall Anduin would excel in organized situations, while in random play can feel real underwhelming as you have limited effect on fights/map on the personal level.

I’d like to see lightbomb also heal for a % of the damage Lightbomb does. The AoE stun has much more of an impact than the shield does. And you know, a lvl 20 upgrade that isn’t garbage like salvation’s.

With Evenhanded Blessing at 16 it becomes 3s vs 2.4s. Pursued by Grace is definitely good enough to sacrifice .6 seconds off Flash heals CD. Combined with Inner Fire at 4, and Varians Legacy at 20, its seems nonsensical to pick anything other than Bold Strategy. You’re just giving up an extra talent for almost nothing in exchange.

I guess it’s just me then. I don’t really pick talents that increase the clunkiness of a character even if the benefits outweigh the negatives.

Bold Strategy definitely reduces your early game healing output by a substantial amount. It takes a minute for the talent to gain its worth. I guess that why there are multiple options, everyone can pick what they like best. If you don’t do bold strat, that does free up a talent at 16, letting you pick up lightwell, since evenhanded blessings will be reduced in value without picking bold strat.

His kit and talents are really so good, I’m not sure theres a wrong pick, as long as its cohesive.

Haven’t played him yet, but unless my healer is a utility healer over a sustained healer I never panic when I see him on the enemy team
Now if my healer is a Rhegar rather then someone who can keep up with Anduin’s heals like an Alex, Ana or even in my personal experience Stukov that’s another story

But maybe that’s just another tale of QM

Or just take lightwell anyway because the HoT from renew and Pursued by Grace procs lower its cooldown? I’ve had no problem keeping people alive early game. I just think he’s kind of boring and underwhelming.

Not sure what Rehgar’s you play with, but I have no problem keeping up with the high throughput healers. Even without his mundane passive build.

I mean, sure, you could do that, but I certainly wouldn’t want to play all game with a 5 second cd on flash heal. I only pick bold strat because the negatives can be greatly mitigated by evenhanded blessings. Taking lightwell removes your ability to mitigate those negatives.

If I was taking Lightwell at 16, I’d just go with Renew at 1.

Or, alternatively, pick up Inner Focus so you don’t have to play some stupid game where you have to change your heal target. More often than not you’re trying to heal up one target being focused down. Q -> Inner Focus -> Q -> Divine Star -> Q - Inner Focus - Q (all while weaving in auto attacks) is a lot of healing in a short amount of time. It’s incredibly easy to hit the minimum two targets required to completely removed Inner Focus’ cooldown. Space out your abilities right and you can practically spam Flash Heal.

It’s a one second cooldown increase. It really ain’t that serious.

QM rehgar’s
That is all there is to it

Ah I see. I’m sorry for all the pain they’ve caused you.

So with the patch today they confirmed Anuduin’s winrate was 48% so he does seem like he was balanced like I felt.

I generally had a very positive feeling on this heroes launch and probably one of the better and smoother hero launches.

Although I may be biased because I love wow priests so much lol

PS please make a 1h mace skin or any skin really that looks like a wow priest.

I’m surprised they didn’t increase the radius on Holy Nova. Buffing its healing/damage numbers is like fixing something that wasn’t broken. It’s not that it doesn’t give off a nice little burst heal, it’s that the radius is so small it has little effect on anyone besides yourself.

Saw the Bold Strategy nerf coming. I think we all assumed it would increase Flash Heal’s cooldown by 2 seconds. Evenhanded Blessing might be pretty good now, but I’ll still take a max cooldown reduction on Inner Focus of 16 seconds instead of 20. That’s still pretty spammable. Same for Lightwell. An extra 10 seconds doesn’t mean a whole lot in the build I take it with, especially considering it reduces itself.

Did you really just compare a hero to how it works based off of QM?

A completely random joke of a mode. Heroes are designed for team synergy and counter picking. You lose all of that in a random QM mode unless you’re 5 man stacked.

Yes… from my experiences in QM. I literally said that in my post. Lightbomb is not great for QM, HWS is much better. In QM.

Do I need to repeat that am I specifically talking about QM? You know, the most popular mode in the game, Quick Match?

I’ll go ahead and say Quick Match once more, just to make sure you got it this time, because I understand it’s difficult: Quick Match. Lightbomb. Not great.

We good? You got it now? Excellent.

I think that only applies to QM though

Outside of QM it can be very good

Versus AI is the most popular mode, thank you very much! :stuck_out_tongue:
i do gotta lol at the person not realizing that you stated QM.

not in my experience.
Issue isn’t the area it covers, but teammates running out of it. doh
