I really love heroes that can lock down and block multiple enemies at once - a way of saying ā€œDid I SAY you could leave?!ā€ To that end, Diablo, ETC, Blaze, and Deathwing fill that need for me perfectly as far as tanks go. KTZ is another when I can land those skillshots.

Wave Clear.

This title confused me so much I thought ft was short for feet and it was the whole topic about it…

The thing that attracts me initially is if the hero has a mechanic that seems OP or ā€œunfairā€ in theory. In practice of course, it is not so. Some examples include ming and butcher or more broadly, things like dots and pets.

Another thing is heroes that can take out chunks of health from an enemy at a time. Like slow-hitting, high attack heroes.

There are certain categories I like:

Supports that do more than healing (or bring their main contribution through utility):
Brightwing
Medivh
Abathur

Beefy heroes that can hold their ground and be threatening nevertheless:
Tyrael
Artanis
Yrel
Dehaka

Global or macro heroes, because it’s an easy to exploit part of the match. Constant macro pressure is underrated:
Dehaka
Abathur
Falstad
Illidan

I also don’t like quests that I have to go out of my way to complete, e. g. globe quests. Preferably a hero has no quest whatsoever, I like my immediate power surge:
Kerrigan
Kharazim
Ana
(most of the above)

Its all about high risk / high reward Heros for me. I hate brain dead heros that can just perform seamlessly with little effort and just rofl stomp.

stealth, melee range, rogue fantasy, one shot or near one shot burst damage… I choose characters like this in every game i play, and i have done since i was a little kid.

I’ve done 0/minimum detection runs of Dishonored 1/2, most assassin Creed games (all before origins because I feel they killed the stealth fantasy in the newer ones), and probably others I can’t think of off the top of my head.

I was a spy in tf2, rogue in wow, rogue main in HS, always played a thief/assassin in Skyrim

I like that too but depending of the games you play , stealth isnt as easy lol not all games are like skyrim !
stabs guard, guard is somehow alive
All guards alerted and aiming at you
crouch ( max stealth )
Guards : hum…must’ve been the wind !

I mostly played the metal gear solid games and i found the stealth in there to be nice but its deffinitely not on the scale of assassin creed and such .

I did had a nice taste for using knifes and less conventional weapons in games though . ive played the demons souls and dark souls 1,2,3 and i made a ritual to beat each games at least once using a knife lol . at the exception of 2 because i went ape$#@! When i realised the game had built-in imput delay , in other word to parry an attack i had to press parry before the enemy even started attacking…that was the end of DS2 for me lol ( i did eventually finished the game with a tank build but it really wasnt the same for me ).

" why use a sword to slay a rabbit when a pocket knife can do the same ? "
