What is Rexxar and how to use his D?

I wonder how I would react to a new person behind my back.

I told already my problem. I am not get used to use left click to move someone, like with Misha.

Maybe i should start a thread called ‘’ How would you react if the hero you main was standing behind you while you play’’

Go ahead.

What left click?
Ohh… you must play with quick cast off.

Oh god, this sucks. No, go turn quick cast on for Misha.
Then you just need to press D without left click.

Go into your settings and create a Hotkey profile for Rexxar.

Set Misha’s Movement to a button on the side of your mouse.

Then set that Movement to Quick Cast “ON”, so wherever you click that mapped button, Misha will move to that area instantaneously.

Then practice right clicking to move Rexxar and using that mapped keybind for Misha.

Voila.

Also, if you use Alt + D, Misha will return to you without having to physically click Rexxar.

Like others said, its alot of practice and quick cast on D is basically required. Rexxar him self is like a simple marksman with a slow while the bear is like a simple tank with alot of self healing. Think of him like a pair of reapers in sc2 harnessing ppl. Knowing when to have them go together for more fire power or when to split up to either let one of them heal or to just be in 2 places at once.
Gotta do alot of thinking outside the box as rexxar. Being in 2 places at once is extremely powerful in the early stages of a game. On point control maps like braxis, dragon shrines, and to a lesser extent sky temple parking your bear on the point while you farm the lane can put your opponent in a difficult position. Fighting the bear takes forever but they can just leave the lane unsoaked. You can tank certain camps for your team while your still soaking the lane. You can have the bear leave lane out the back, go the long way around, and gank your own lane. You can have the bear act as a vision ward and make rexxar virtually ungankable.
In the latter stages of the game rexxar becomes a marksman who can actually peel for his team with a fairly easy to hit stun and use the bear to body block. He can also be decent at starting fights with unleash the boars and/or having the bear flank an important enemy.

Rexxar can also solo boss very early if you talent for it

To add onto my previous post, you can play Rexxar just fine without microing Misha, just expect to receive calls from PETA later. In my opinion, he’s the perfect “hard” hero.

lol depends on how will the fighting goes when you need to move her out of danger or back to you by clicking on Rexxar after pushing D on your key board

its easy for me, a tip would be to focus on misha more as rexxar is safe from a distance somewhat. But always keep an eye on him every other second.

The only issue about Misha is that she likes to wander around, so as a workaround I’m absolutely always ready to press Alt-D. Yes, you need to pay attention to not just your hero, but the pet, too.

With latency she can be really problematic. During my earlier US endeavour I had a really hard time controlling her. I would press Alt-D and she would go away attacking a tower. I would press D on a minion and she would walk in the opposite direction to attack a hero. I played about two matches and then said screw it.

I noticed that since changing my input method from key+click to key-up, so theoretically a lot faster, I have a much harder time landing point and click abilities (skill shots are a lot better, though). Probably the movement of my target makes it harder to hit as the click is actually instant (mouse-down). Particularly bad cross-region, I wonder if it’s not even the client processing the input.

This could have an effect on you.
