Okay I will reframe this for you to understand. There are a handful of different threads running here so I can see why you got cross wired.
Blizzard are hyper focused on making video games family friendly(fearful of making real games). Battle.net is turning into a 24/7 after school center to look after children while the parents are busy. If you are a grown adult, hanging around with these battle.net kids I don’t know what to say. Either your opponents/allies are 21+ year old men into children toys or they are going to be actual kids.
There are plenty of other games out there catering to adults with adult ratings, why would you want to play with virtual toys that kids are asking mommy and daddy to buy. Why would you want to play with the kids who want to show off their toys mommy and daddy purchased for them. I don’t get it. Nostalgia or whatever you want to say, it is strange to me.

What does the rating have to do with it
Okay 1, the games rating dsoen’t equal it’s maturity, want an example, Mortal Kombat and Trauma Center two games I adore,
One of them have a consistent M rating the other only gets T
Guess which one has more mature storylines which tackles closer to home issues
I’ll give ya a hint it’s not the one built on gratiuitious violence.
There is a reason they don’t prioritize video games over their other hobbies, we both know what it is!
