I don’t think I would ever qualify Garrosh’s peel as excellent.
You have to be in melee range to use into the fray, which is not ideal in a scenario where your backline gets harassed. Most characters that can reach your backline have mobility, so even a successful into the fray may not be enough.
If the enemy has any kind of diver, and my healer is something like an Ana or Malf, with two dps, I would not pick Garrosh. For most other tanks I would be fine.
You said yourself that you’d struggle with Garrosh if you see an enemy Zeratul pick. If his peel was excellent, a diver would not be problematic.
I didn’t, I said decent. However, Into the Fray is an excellent tool for saving someone who’s getting harassed. The only other cleanse I know of that brings an ally to safety is Anduin’s pull or Stitches Hook.
Its also not ideal to hug your team and get chipped down either. Garrosh is good for engaging and his tools used well are like I said, decent peels.
I struggle with Zeratul not because Garrosh has bad peel, but because I both am a beginner Garrosh and Zeratul is difficult to peel off allies altogether. Its not a Garrosh only problem, its a me problem.
Oh yes because if I play bad as Garrosh he’s a bad hero. Idk why you came here to take shots at me but from someone who posts replays with low hero damage and then questions why you lost, oh wait… you pin it on your teammates… just like how you’re pinning bad Garrosh performance on Garrosh the hero. Makes sense now.
I’m not going to sit here and be insulted by the likes of someone like that.
That’s exactly what I said. Into the fray requires you to be in melee range of your team mate, so you do need to hug them to use it.
Note that both of these are long range. It makes Leap of faith straight up superior. Helping hand no because it’s a skill shot and can get body blocked. But Anduin is a healer so, not really comparable.
Please quote the insult. I have no idea why you’re feeling victimised.
Um, I’m here because I created the topic? I replied to pretty much everyone. If you feel singled out, I can’t help it. Evidence shows otherwise.
But given the tone of your reply, I’ll remove myself from this discussion.
Idk how you don’t see an AOE taunt as a good/decent peel, or a large AOE slow with a damage reduction as decent, good peel or what have you.
I did say excellent, sorry for that, but still Zeratul has a lot of ways to engage and stay glued to your enemies, which makes it pretty hard for any hero to peel him off. So saying Garrosh isn’t good because I myself am not good at dealing with Zeratul is stupid.
You have to be in melee range but that doesn’t mean your allies will be far from the enemy to the point Zeratul is harassing your enemies while you’re dealing with the others in the fight away from them. What about melee heroes who join you, like Rehgar? He can get trapped too and Into the Fray is a good way of helping him escape if he can’t by his own means. But staying next to your long range ally Hanzo, means you’re not engaging and long range enemies will chip you down and you’ll be useless… it’s not hard to retreat as Garrosh to help peel off a diver, but it doesn’t mean you’re constantly hugging your ranged allies to protect them from a diving Zera the whole time. And yeah Anduin isn’t comparable at all and stitches pull is easy to get blocked or miss. If there’s no ally minions you can’t miss your ally when using Into the Fray. If you don’t want to see that as a useful save… idk.
By saying that because I struggle against Zeratul makes Garrosh bad, you’re implying that if I was good it wouldn’t be an issue. I don’t believe my bad play makes Garrosh a bad hero, but since you think it does that’s why I took it as an insult. It might not have seemed like it from your point of view but since I already stated I wasn’t good, thanks for pointing that out when I obviously already said it. When Volun and I called you out for your apparent lack of hero damage you got defensive as well, because like me, you don’t like hearing people say you could have been better so it’s a little hypocritical of you to do the same to me and act like you did nothing wrong.
I might be overreacting and pulling things out of thin air, but still. I already know I’m not good as Garrosh vs others here… no need to state that if I could deal with Zeratul Garrosh would actually be good. I know Garrosh is good a peeling so just because I can’t doesn’t mean the hero isn’t good at it. That’s why I posted in this shame thread because I do dumb things sometimes that good players don’t. I just don’t need to hear it again from someone when I explicitly already stated it.
It could be worse. I still remember an enemy Andiun who was low health use his trait to pull a Valla who had I had just applied KT’s Living Bomb. Pull ----> Kaboom! They both blow up.
I use LiLi as my voice announcer. The only voice announcer. This is because she’s so chipper even when I lose and she tells me I did my best. Who would’nt want that I ask you. Better than the raven lord no doubt.
Hmmm I should purchase brightwing…
Ok I can agree on D.va all she does is outdated memes. But why forsake the lili? She brings a positive attitude. The rest of these chumps act like your boss or an unfriendly employee.
(The ravenlord jab was a joke, btw. I put that in to lure you hehehe. I actually like it)
It’s the Graviton surge’s animation that messed up your aim
Saw something similar last week. Junkrat used Rocket ride trying to get Sonya. The Sonya walked to the edge of the ult, she was safe, but then Lagwagon, who was playing Anduin, pulled her through all the bombs. Which deals more damage than if the ult had hit her.
Instant death lol.
The little kid announcer is the same. "Oh, I lost. But I still had fun "
Also, don’t use Alarak as announcer.
Ehhh I don’t like the kid announcer. Like buzz off kid youre not the one playing. The good heroes announcers are more like friends watching you on the side giving you some encouraging words.
Lol I think I enjoy Alarak enough to tolerate his abuse. But maybe to an extent. I have a feeling I’d have it up in like 3 games and then switch back.
I preform better with Ana then nova
the difference between them is that ana heals nova kill
a common denominator is that the shots that require me to hit my enemy generally miss
