The guy’s name is Grim, I mean, come on.
Their ID is “Grim”, we need to cut the puppy some slack. But yeah, that post would be a better fit in The Salt Mines.
Serves me right for not scrolling down! Well, I’m leaving up my post, so everyone can see my shame.
Seeing new blood in the game is always refreshing. I was in a game with a new player who was using butcher for the first time. I usually don’t, but they asked for advice and so I did give it.
It was kinda heartwarming seeing them progressively get better throughout the match against the bots with him and changing how they play as the advice was given.
Hello Joy Mines,
I stepped into ranked again, and was doing pretty good, 8 wins out of 10, a few losses then som more wins. It might have been getting late, but I got a few losses and the ‘tone’ of the game just got more hostile. maybe I was tired or maybe everyone was tired. I got this guy 2 games in a row, he apologized for his li li play last game and they were an awesome lili and I told them as much. It’s unfortunate how people can get blamed for losing a game in that case. But overall a very good night.
I’m also rooting for Spain in the Women’s World Cup in a few hours. it might seem off topic but who’s watching. I’m a soccer player and enthusiast so I’m posting it.
me bbf is training to be a proper football woman
Unfortunately I despise football and any iteration of football
supporting her is fine
being enthusiastic is hard
oh erm…
no I won’t be watching
To clarify, I meant, who’s watching that I wrote an off topic blurb on a mostly on topic post.
But it’s impressive your bbf has that ambition to train to be in pro football. It certainly wasn’t easy in HS and college. And sorry you hate it so much, I guess you have your reasons.
I’ve been getting really good results with Garrosh lately. And Tank is my worse role.
(Also, I’m near the end of a perfect Silent run in Slay the Spire.)
Just won a game on Towers of doom where my team was:
Anubarak
Lucio
Nazeebo
tracer (me)
Blaze.
The Nazeebo decided to double soak top / mid, despite the fact that there was no way he could keep up with the enemy Xul. So I was solo assassin. The funny thing is, we basically won a 4 vs 5. Nazeebo did very little but kill minions. But we managed to destroy the bot tower, and my team was smart enough to defend it. So the enemy wasted a lot of time trying to fight us for it, and most of our objectives dealt 5 points.
Have to admit that we also got a lot of value while the enemy were ganking Nazeebo.
(I still hate having a Nazeebo on my team)
Yeah… Good video.
But I still hate how Nazeebo makes ppl misplay ![]()
Reminds me of all the weird nonsense witch doctors could do in Diablo 3.
I just had a game, and I didn’t make it to the MVP screen! Mrgl…
Oh wait, this is the GG thread.
So. I had the most competent teammates, great cooperation, map awareness, soaking, showing up for objectives perfectly, and of course a bit of luck, too. I also healed twice as much as the opponent Anduin, as Li Li. Not that I needed to.
These matches are to be appreciated!
Except for the voting screen! Just kidding for silly roleplay of my angry self.
ps.: Illidan has a funny voice line: Work on your acceptable! Yes, it is Work on your form. If there is point of a thread about such abrupt endings, let’s make one and have some dad jokes on you!
I had a game with a ninja Deckard while playing as Sylvanas. The Nova and Malfurion were non-factors while Tracer was a bit green around the edges, which left me and Deckard fending off the A.I when it was time to collect tributes.
Well timed usage of Lorenados, slows, lockdowns, good positioning, and pots made fending off the bots a lot easier than it should have been. Deckard even went as far as body blocking Yrel while I was collecting a tribute.
Deckard was MVP that game by a large margin. They definitely knew that hero inside and out.
OK, yesterday, I played 5 games with my team, and we won all five.
(I feel a bit bad for the enemy bruiser who was less experienced than me and was matched with me twice)
Then, looking at my match history, I just realized my last 11 games are wins.
Also, my perfect Slay the spire Silent run is confirmed (No shivs)
We have an NGS game this Sunday, and I can feel we’re going to own.
(Now that I know I had an 11 games win streak, I have performance anxiety and I don’t want to play lol)
Measured confidence, Mr. Shifter. All my best wishes for your NGS matches on Sunday, keep your win streak alive and most of all, have fun!
I will not truly have fun until I’ve played a game with you ![]()
sorry lol wrong topic
To my team that didn’t give up when nothing went our way the first half of last night’s ARAM game: GG.
First half:
- Extremely late 10
- Me, Stitches, can’t land a hook to save my life (or anyone else’s)
- Lost fort and keep before doing any meaningful structure damage
- Getting out-killed 17-4
- Enemy was pushing in for the kill 5v3
Then the turnaround. No one else died and managed to stall for respawns. We saved the core at 28% and wiped them. At this point I figure it’s dire but we’re still alive so that’s something.
We start attacking the fort, aware that they (and their extremely aggressive Valla) can backdoor. They had 20 first but it didn’t matter since they were all dead. We kill the fort and win another fight. In between this and progressively sieging (and backing, and sieging again, etc.) their keep, we thwarted at least 3 backdoor attempts, and the core was down to 17%. Hero Tychus declared himself Ed Reed and singlehandedly stopped the Valla one time.
We win a fight outside what used to be their keep and have 3v1 (only Stukov didn’t die), but respawns were on the way. We start hacking away at the core. I initially called to snipe the Stukov but changed to all hit the core. It was very close. We wiped at 5% and I thought it was over, but my vile gas was apparently just enough to finish off the core.
Second half:
- Team started gelling
- Out-killed enemy 24-9
- Never lost a fight completely
Always play to the bitter end.
You’re always too kind Phase. I must admit, you seem like a pretty relaxed person to enjoy a game of Hots with. Maybe I could jump on my very worst heroes such as Genji, Maiev or Alarak for maximum laughs. My friends from my D3 days, we often did this, play the heroes we’re terrible with and mock each other in a kind way, those matches were filled with laughs.
Never giving up wins more games! Welcome back btw, nice to see you posting and playing again.
And then, you will completely own with Genji, and it will become your main.
