I usually combine Yrel’s hammer with Auriel’s whip and Raynor’s penetrating round to make sure nobody reaches the fleeing, sliver-of-health enemy.

I play her a ton lately. I read a lot of good comments here; let me add some things that I feel are missing.
Her sacred ground heroic isn’t as bad as its reputation. Pick it in and against the right team and you hold objectives until the end of time. I found great uses for it on Volskaya and Alterac.
Maraad’s insight @1 is absolut garbage.
Hand of freedom is amazing. I play healer role a lot and as such it comes naturally to me to cast it in the right moments. Don’t just wait for a root to cleanse; sometimes, the extra movement speed alone can make a difference. Also, its cast range is gigantic.
I usually pick her AA splash talent at 16. You become so dangerous, it’s not even funny.
