Tassadar is sleeper overpowered

It’s like DW, if you know the animations, easy to dodge.

I’m a quite safe player and in these hands, Tass is a very nice late game hero. I took a build from a QM opponent, people say it’s weird but works better than standards for me.

Q freeze can be funny, but apart from that I’d say Tassadar has a similar pushy gameplay as non-teleport Ming. Probably better at that. Individual hits aren’t too meaningful, but between Q, W and triple AA it adds up nicely. Also counters certain (specialist) heroes I would otherwise hate with all my heart.

I feel he is kind of an “average at everything” hero which therefore can work well as long as the team does its job, whatever they choose that is. Something like KT.

Tasadars Q damage is quite ridiculous.

I just think his shield talent should regen a tad slower, since it’s percent-based it benefited a lot from the recent HP buff and dominates that tier.
His level 1 Q talent got buffed when it didn’t need to.

Those are the only two talents that could use some adjustments imo.

People complained about old chromie, at both ends of the skill levels.
Yet tassadar has similar concept, with better clear and with archon you can hold some ground if someone get close.

Wait, what? Since when Tracer is a Tassadar counter or even the reverse?
Tracer is one of the last people who can deal with Tass since he can shrug off Tracer’s burst. Meanwhile Tassadar is a terrible Tracer counter because even if you go AA build you don’t deal that much damage without your Q which Tracer will evade at all times save for when she tries to melee. I tried to build against Tracer as Tass in QM, it didn’t work. On the other hand if you just play normally she’s unlikely to ever be a specific threat to you as Tass.

He’s very strong and fun to play. The Devs are working hard and pumping out reworks and fun patches that I haven’t got time to try out new heroes seriously, or “main” the newly reworked heroes.

Well, this is what happened in the Method Grand Final.

Game 1 : Washed up first picks Tassadar.
Game 2: Last dance first picks Tassadar
Game 3 Washed up first bans Tassadar.

So he’s apparently a hot commodity.

I stand by my opinion that they buffed him too fast.

The lack of getting in or out really bones him against some picks. I think he’s good because he has lots of draw up to his attacks. He’s not really a one and done, he’s gotta sustain the assault.

He trades mobility and self healing for raw damage.
That’s a good trade when you have a team that peels for you.
