Maraad is a cardboard cutout propped up to let Blizzard pretend they had Draenei characters other than Vellen.

At no point was he ever anything but a standard issue Vindicator. You could swap him out for literally any other Draenei paladin for any story he’s been a part of and it would play out exactly the same.

Never rolled a tauren, personally. My dad has a hunter named Acowgoesmoo and a druid named Overbearing, though.

I did however secure ‘Whywolf’ for my worgen on the day Cata launched. Couldn’t get Whatwolf, but I’ll take second place.
