Honesty, just making the pilot form an escape rather than a dps form like in overwatch would be fine.
No XP gain for mech loss, give her dash, and throttle her pistol damage (Screw overwatch lore, she’s a mess there too) so shooting as a pilot and big shot are to get back in the mech, not deal more damage than your mech. Now the point of her pilot form is XP denial, not half her stats.
.25 kills for a mech death I think is fair. .5 isn’t even that bad but it would make more sense if her mech was beefier. Glad to hear that’s their plan. Dumping some of her pilot damage into mech via proximity buffs would be a super welcome change. I wonder what the cd on her rockets is going to be?
Gotta admit she wasn’t great at her role when they designed her originally in OW.
Though no XP on Mech kills would allow her to survive fights indefinitely with no downside.
But I agree an “Eject” ability would be nice. Though it would compete with her Q as escape. Bruisers don’t typically get more than one get out of jail card.
.25 would be acceptable, it’d be like a murky kill or a misha kill. But .5 is still way to high given the fragility of the mech and her lack of sustain for it. Given its downsides when destroyed (being shut out of your mech form abilities and being forced to play it safe with big shot), it doesn’t really feel like much of a denial in getting away, but more like an intricate death timer.
