As someone who is always encountering this problem I default to “they didn’t pick ult’s/ talents to make more of a positive impact in the game” Even if they did pick something to help against the enemy my other thought goes to “They don’t know how to use it properly” (the other half of the problem I run into myself) so I’m empathetic to his problem. It’s my mistake for assuming but man is it a feels bad situation no matter what they did or didn’t pick because in the end they didn’t do it good enough to overcome the enemy. Yes OP could have worded his complaint a lot better.
Does it even matter now ? One team only have about 5% chance of winning and have to hope that enemy team is complete braindead. Other team is forced to play defensive whole game and cant kill object fast enough.
Also no healer vs a team who has self healing and high hp and dmg. it dont take much brain to figure out how that game will end.
Guldan/Azmo poking people down and Tracer/Butcher going in for the kill. Ease win. And they got Vikings aswell so they can soak while Butcher can roam around freely picking on people when they are low enough and too far away from his own towers.
You mean like how you thought your game was lost due to Varian spec even though it was because of your incompetent healing and merc obsession as a healer? A perfect example of bad game analysis and a person not using their tools even though they have them. A 5% chance and yet they somehow managed to draw the game to 22 minutes and still get multiple kills.
There’s also various forms of sustain on both sides. And playing defensively is perfectly fine depending on the position of the immortals. I’m inclined to believe that matchup is harder for Phase for sure, but if you have an immediate assumption of knowing how the game will end, then you’re probably part of the problem in a lot of your games.
i feel the same way when i pick certain heroes. Although murky grab will destroy butcher if the team can focus.
