PTR Patch Notes - April 22th 2019 [Anduin Release]

There seems to be a bug with Divine Star currently, as it registers only one hero hit and therefore does not give the full healing bonus when you hit more than one. Hope they fix that or correct the description, whatever is wrong.

Are you sure? It’s for enemy heroes hit, not allies. I’ve gotten it to work just fine earlier. Nearly doubled the heal on return.

I tested it on try mode and got the same amount healed on the healing dummy no matter how many target dummies i hit with it (given i hit at least one). Might be an issue with try mode or just an byzantine bug. I did post it into the bug report forum anyways, so if there is something they will surely find it.

Glad to see that they’re not skimping on new announcers, skins, and everything else you might expect from a new hero release.

Odd. With zero training dummies at lvl 1 I’m getting 135.2. With 1 I’m getting 169. With 2 training dummies I’m getting 202.8. With 3, the most dummies I’m able to hit at once, I’m getting 236.6. Not sure what could be causing one client to be bugged while another is working as intended.

I seem to have stumbled upon a weird one-time bug. It seems to work fine now.

try me modes can have a number of bugs for heroes depending how quest and talent resets.

I haven’t had a chance with anduin personally, but when I plug numbers in my posts on the forums, I usually test stuff on a training dummy first and run the test a few times to make sure I get the intended interaction from abilities and talents as some things do go haywire there.

So another quarter year for Deathwing to show up :frowning:

If that is even being developed of course, how many years have you guys been waiting for this?

I don’t expect us to ever get Deathwing. He would be a nightmare to put into the game. Either he is too big, and breaks the game that way, or he is too small and EVERYBODY complains… And don’t get me started on if they have him spend 90% of the game in his human form instead of his Dragon form. People would riot. IF they ever added him to the game, it would be better as some kind of map mechanic, but even that would lead to pissing people off.

There’s no winning result at all.

It actually seems pretty reasonable. You just make him the same size as Dragonqueen, but permanently. Dragonqueen demonstrably fits anywhere and is already the biggest model in the game. Just make that permanent.

So putting in a character that can always bodyblock a gate by himself is healthy?

But he’s susceptible to stuns and silences while he channels. So there is a weakness to using that ult during team fights.

I took Salvation as an ult to heal up from afar to reengage ASAP.

It’s better to have no spotlight at all, then to have a spotlight without Kevin, it simply cannot give out the same good vibes without him.

What if Lana voices the spotlights.:thinking::thinking::thinking:

Salvation does not bail you from CC, displacements , procs from damage (eg butcher healing himself on you from brand), can’t cheese channels with protection and anduin cannot act when channeling.
Lightbomb also has potential and 60 sec cd, not sure if salvation is going to be the answer everytime.

I would not be opposed to this.

Didn’t they standardize the body sizes/hit boxes a while ago or something? Could alexstrasza really block an entire gate by herself? Regardless, I don’t think that’s an issue considering they’re clearly not averse to adding things with troll potential.

Potentially massive melee ranged stun and a big shield to boot? Yes please. I can only imagine how much of a nightmare it’ll make someone like greymane.
