There is a way to potentially test using it without leaving it on.

I cannot test this myself (as I’ve already got it stuck on) but I believe if you go into the battle.net launcher, click the “BLIZZARD” icon, select “settings”, than go into “game settings” than go down into “Heroes of the Storm”.

Select (put a check) in the “Additional command line arguments”
Then type/copy this into the line it gives you:

Cursorguides=true

This line should enable Cursor Guide, and I believe removing it (or flagging it to false) should allow you to try it without it being “force enabled”.
BUT This may force enable it until a fix is found on Blizzard’s side.

Like in this photo, except you would type in the code shown above. Sorry for all the blue lines, but I’m to lazy to properly edit things out.

I do not know if this will result in this setting being stuck on.
But info if it does from someone who tries it would be neat!
