Is there a Leeroy in WoW? I know there’s an achievement that lets you have his name as a title but I don’t think there is an actual character in WoW called Leeroy but it’s been a long hot minute since I played WoW.

Anduin, boring character.

Also why not Hogger? when Hots already has no-name heroes such as Murky, Brightwing, dryad, abomination and all of them have unique and fun kit, only unfun no-name hero i think is probius.
Dota had a hero with gnoll model just like dryad, murloc or faerie dragon or abomination.
But from all unit models i would like to have ghoul hero.

Reinhardt, I think he’s boring ability wise and his one unique aspect being his shield will be translated poorly into hots given what we’ve seen with somewhat similar abilities. Genji’s deflect and D.Va’s defense matrix for instance.

I wouldn’t worry about him. Golden has no power here.

Any Dragon Aspect aside from Deathwing. I feel like Alexstrasza, Chromie and Deathwing cover WarCraft dragons from pretty much every angle, or at least every angle I’m interested in. If Alex has the shapeshifter gimmick and Deathwing potentially has the big boi gimmick, doing it again will just feel like retreading. Also, having them not be dragons at all like Chromie is a waste.

Also, not a character but a design - any core replacement hero. That just sounds like a bucket of worms. On paper it looks cool, but I feel like the execution will always just be a less interactive Abathur. I still want Yogg-Saron, C’thun, Overmind, Corebjorn, or whatever else people suggest, but done in a more interesting way.

I love the character in W3 but I think there is no reason to have him on HotS

Grom Hellscream - I’d find him quite redundant in HotS without anything unique on him… He wouldn’t be using Gorehowl as Gary already has it… and Grom wouldn’t bring anything new to the table…

Another melee orc shouting stuff? nah thanks…

While we’re on the subject of deathwing, it’s not that I don’t want him, but he’s not that interesting(or at least, not as interesting as most people think) for me. Like, he’s an evil dragon, sure he’s huge, but that’s all he’s got. Reds aren’t that much better but at least the whole healing thing is there as a twist.

As I said, he’s more a meme hero(and the issue with that is players overuse and kill memes. That and they become outdated) but he wouldn’t be too bad since the concept of a gnoll warrior or commander is still good.

Leeroy is irredeemable though. :no_good_woman:

He would become real meme for being Hots superstar, if picked over main cast Warcraft heroes such as Thrall, Arthas, Varian and Garrosh, as minor lore irrelevant character himself. That would make me laugh pretty hard actually. So in case, they need to come up with some niche kit for him.

Broll Bearmantle. I simply don’t care about him and the only reason to add him would be to complete Varian’s arena team.

But in terms of having a shapeshifter Druid, I find Hamuul Runetotem a far better fit for that role. Not only does it suit his lore well, but also because we need another Tauren in the game. We already got, like, 4 Night elves and 7 elves total (8 if you count the Johanna skin), while we only have a single Tauren who isn’t even a lore character he’s a self-insert of Samwise Didier. And there really is no better representative than Malfurions’ own disciple and advisor to the Bloodhoof chieftains.

Jarraxus is literally a meme and a joke character, plus there are two more significant and iconic eredar to add; Archimonde and Kil’jaden. I just don’t see why anyone would want some tired joke character over the real deals.

Leeroy, god I hope this character never gets added. I just feel like Blizzard has given this guy enough tributes (way too many imo) for a single video he made almost 15 years ago, he doesn’t need to have his own hero in a moba, that’s just too far. Who’s to say some other YouTuber won’t make an equally iconic video later down the line and gain icon status? Do we need to make an entire hero for that guy/girl too? Maybe I want a HoTs hero dedicated to my Orc mage, like, see the point? It’s just impractical to dedicate so much time and reasources for a guy who doesn’ even play WoW anymore. The hearthstone card and WoW in-game tributes are enough, we don’t need to glorify this guy anymore with a literal representation of him in HoTs, it’s absurd.

i like jaraxxus, but yeah, he kinda pales in comparison to the two “original” eredar

kil’jaeden even has a number of mechanics they could pull from, since as of ToS he’s got two raid encounters—and the second benefited from legion having (in my opinion) generally incredible fight design

Dont forget hammer. Shes in a MASSIVE Seige Tank but they shrunk her and Murky spawns murlocs smaller than him and hes a baby.
