There is also a popup that appears if the thread is old enough to the right. One that is big, obvious, and anyone that has workable eyes (that can move within their sockets) as well as working brain can see.

What MVP screen goes for its just a relic of what the devs tried to do when they copy OW into Hots.
Its meaningless and only deserve to be removed.
I think the MvP screen has a place, and it’s also missed in OW2. It should however put better stats/medals up (like Hat Trick, Sole Survivor), instead of the same ones it always does (Healing/Damage absorbed/Damage dealt/Killing Sprees under 20).
Which depending on interpretation could get us all in trouble.
I want to be able to report myself for being naughty. Kinda like that time in Florida where a man turned himself in for past tensing his imaginary friend.
mvp skin could be useful, but it should include all the players as some of key contributions don’t have an easy stat to back it.
Some heroes might have more saves, but get pushed out by those with high throughput, so it tends to validate stat-padding instead of unique contributions.

The MVP screen should just show all 10 players with an icon where you can see their individual stat contribution. Hots has too many variables to track to determine exactly which player is really the “MVP”, or any other category that isn’t basic, such as siege damage or number of mercenary captures.
That makes me feel more clueless than usual, I honestly hadn’t noticed that they had removed that little blurb. Unless they are actively using the in game survey questions to collect data, they should remove those too.

I almost forgot those stats banners. They would tell you were better then X % of the playerbase with Y hero.
I miss the stat banners.

I was thinking about that some time ago, and have also noticed they no longer show. Not sure when they were removed, but it’s definitely been a couple years since I last saw one.
