I pretty much agree. I wouldn’t be surprised if they also reduced the time a time trap takes to arm.

they can do whatever they want to , however chromie still has less then a 5% win rate in masters and above . was 44% kind of a big deal .

The sad this though is her minion wave clear is way worse than it used to be. The time it takes after a dragons breath (whos CD has been increased) is longer than it used to be.

Fast forward to November. She’s definitely useless. Particularly her time trap. Has nothing to do with “getting used to the new Chromie”. She is objectively worthless.

I had 150-180k games on old Chromie (20 minutes) extreme case. 100k-120k 15 minutes. Now I’m lucky to get 70-100k - and that is if the game lasts 25 minutes.

Plus her damage is sustained damage like Guldan now. It’s not burst damage anymore.

Sustained damage (like constant tiny Dragon’s Breath bombardments) are much easier to heal up than the old version where correctly predicting enemy movements made Dragon’s Breath take up to a 30-40% chunk of their health away.

I’ve gotten used to the faster Q though, it is a nice rework and makes Sand Blast much easier to aim. Especially now that hero movement speed has been buffed baseline by 10%.
