Nahimic 2+ no Sound in Heroes of the Storm

Hello
i have a MSI Motherboard ( X399 Gaming Pro Carbon AC )
with this sound tool nahimic 2+ the sound in heroes of the storm does not work. this is not a problem on the headset because the sound works again.
I would like to know if this problem can be solved.

In Diablo3, Overwatch, Destiny 2 come Sound with Nahimic 2+ no problems.

I would be glad if you could help me with this.

If using headphones I suggest setting them to standard stereo mode and then in the HotS game settings enabling “Headphone mode”. I am unsure of the implementation that headphone mode uses, but this likely is the best one can do for headphone audio when playing HotS.

From what I can understand Nahimic is just another 3D sound driver to go along with the standard Windows one as well as Adobe. This requires that the modern 3D sound APIs be used in the first place, which older games like StarCraft II might not be using.

Overwatch does use these 3D sound APIs. Destiny 2 likely does as well. 3D sound is a lot more important for FPS games than RTS games.
