Mal'Ganis needs a new portrait and a more consistent character illustration

Mal’Ganis is currently using a 3D render for his portrait and it’s kind of triggering OCD. His current character illustration also doesn’t fit with the rest of the heroes in the game. I believe the last character to have a normal illustration was Yrel and the rest followed up with a different background, which is still fine since the character art is still consistent with the rest of the heroes. However, Mal’Ganis’ character illustration is completely stylized and not fitting in with the rest of the heroes to the point where he is given a 3D render as his character portrait instead of taking from the illustration.
Please give Mal’Ganis a new character illustration and portrait that is consistent with the rest of the heroes.

Also, am I the only one who thinks the Mal’Ganis voice is absolutely atrocious? Like it honestly sounds like just a regular dude who had his voice pitched down. Very little processing done to make him sound demonic – and while the original War 3 Mal’Ganis voice wasn’t heavily processed, that voice actor did a better job of speaking in a register that sounded natural even if it was pitched down slightly.

If your voice is going to be pitched down, your delivery needs to be more tinny and in the front of the mouth so that when the pitch shifting is done, the lower-sounding voice still retains a certain crispness (almost a gravelly quality).

Bottom line, the current voice sounds goofy, not particularly imposing, and like it was just thrown together. Buuuut I honestly don’t see them changing it at this point. Bleh.

Malganis fan just not a huge fan of the voice. I like the wc3 one but voice actors change and wc is old by now. I did like the dreadlords voices in WoW are they the same one in this game?

I agree. As small as this might be, it’s just incredibly distracting and frustrating. Especially since Orphea’s portrait is all fine and dandy, and she came after Mal.
