I think around plat 3 is perfect between competitive and a bit goofing around.
Its not that I play perfect but I know how to punish and how to recover.
One tip I find great is during long fights over a obj obj lets say alterac pass. You clear the minion wave very quick, take both regens and join the fight again

Everyone thinks it is but once you make your first billion like I have, you become high profile and everyone is after what you’ve got. You have to be careful not to make mistakes or trust the wrong people or else you could lose everything you’ve worked for.

But still the higher I climb the harder it becommes and its not because it is actually hard but they put some questionable allies with me.
So still my theory if my winrate is 70 I get 30% allies to make it around 50%
I have several examples but that will turn out in some strange ranting of a old lady 
They give me people who loose 8 in a row for example. Or a healer main who heals 30k vs 100k
It is winable. But dear god… I wont call it balanced if I was any average player

People think they are god and if you have a better plan they call you a fake master xD so guess im a fake master accourding to Anub with 2,5k xp vs me with 10k xp (i had all the kills , enourmes xp lead and I was called a useless zera (last thing is unrelated just wanted to share this painfull moment)
The general question “is something worth it?” seems like a pretty dumb question to me. What does this even mean? People can use words and form sentences without saying/asking anything…
The point is that ranking up or down happens passively - you just have to play the game. Are you asking is it worth playing this game? that would not be smarter question

The grass is always greener on the other side of the hill so yes it’s worth it to be higher rank. People “goofing around” is normally just people not knowing better and the other half are just trolling. So it looks fun from the outside but it’s pretty nightmarish.
Remember what the dolphin from the Simpsons said? They don’t jump around in the water because it’s fun they jump because the water is cold and they wake up with flimy throats in the morning.

I know its disrespectful but i just speak out what i truly think.
To be fair it’s pretty normal that humans are doing dumb stuff and it’s pretty normal that people get disrespected sometimes.
If your feelings stand in your way you will just end up in drama instead of progression

Getting a high ranked means you would get a better match up than Silver games and you will have so much fun playing. Silver dudes? Oof? they pick Gaz, Zagara, and butcher so much that they feed like hell. All they do is splitpush braindead or never communicates. Low ranked makes the game really boring. Not challenging either.

I see what you mean, in high ranked games, I can no longer really lead as support. That’s kind of how I gained ranks in the first place, so it’s really annoying having to constantly wait on the tank to do everything. Everything also feels heightened as mistakes really get accentuated and capitalized by the enemy than in lower ranks.
However, it’s worth it, it’s a humbling experience to finally play against players who generally know what they’re doing.
Because after all, if I don’t want that high pressure environment, I just play QM.
That’s delusional and wishful thinking on your part. Sure, master players can be awful, especially when it comes to hero picks they aren’t familiar with, but in general they’re better. The worst part about playing with plat players is them THINKING they have better knowledge.

Never implied they are all bad, the point I am trying to make is there’s stubborn Master players who apparently imply they know considerably better on specific heroes yet they review them so terribly that they get it way worse than someone committing to that hero in a Plat/Diamond area.
You can definitely improve from someone who has mastered certain heroes to the limit and play it in a Plat/Dia area as much as these people can learn from masters who play in higher ranks when it comes certain general things that helps you reach that rank in the first place.
