Please remove this mode now. So many people are just doing alt+f4 to avoid this 10 of the same thing.

So much this. ARAM is giving the players exactly what it says on the tin, All Random, all Mid. Those people complaining need to look up the word “Random” in a dictionary before posting.

Sheesh! No wonder the old Devs said they could never please the player base.

“fair” means “The match is ‘close’ but I still win”
“random” means “I don’t know how it works, but I still get what I want”

If people learn how something works, then it can’t be “random” anymore, so they can’t do that.

Similarly, it’s only “fair” if they’re allowed to stop trying when the enemy team is “obviously” going to win, but it’s bad matchmaking if the other side does it in turn. As we should know by now, it’s only "fair’ if it adheres to my demands rather than applying to any and everyone.

What strange thing are you doing that increases your odds of getting an all same hero aram? I was fishing for one all day yesterday and only got 1.
I’m a little jealous.

I’ve had about (6) Same Hero matches since they started this. Most players stayed till the end. My only complaint is that the “All Same Hero” matches don’t occur more often.

I feel like it only happens in 1 out of 15 match-ups.

I think a solution to the whiners would be to designate a time for this stuff. Like everyday from about 8PM-11PM, it’s all Same hero match-ups. Then afterwards it goes back to normal. The whiner’s could just avoid ARAM in that time window, and the rest of us could go nuts with the zany match-ups :slight_smile:

It isn’t a bad idea, but from experience the kind of player who makes major issues over what is essentially a quibble of personal taste, will only find something else equally trivial to complain about.

I don’t think whatever Dev who is keeping the candle lit for Hots should waste resources to cater to this kind of folk.

You believe and are actually trying to make a point that TEN players all getting the same hero multiple times per day from a pool of 80+ characters even remotely represents random??? Clearly, it is not which means clearly, it belongs in a different game mode.

Them bringing this back is enough reason to get me to play again, after nearly two years of quitting.

I’m saying, that it happening is more random than not. From what I saw and heard, it’s rare, but if not, it should be. But most poster from the anti-10 minority has a problem with its existance, and not its frequency.

It happened more than 1 out of 20 and my first three games where it occurred were Nova each time. Each match was boring and long, cept the last, it was just boring but quicker because our team gave up out of boredom. I did tough out these games but the next one was Alarak (I alt+f4ed after 2 min) then Probius (alt+f4ed on char select b/c people were already complaining).

Now you understand why people are alt+f4ing? You go in to get typical ARAM experience but I got 5 games of crazy mode where it’s long, drawn out and boring. Alt f4ing simply resulted in me winning a leaver’s queue ARAM in 13 minutes (where everyone was solidly playing) to escape. Hmmm…13 minute normal ARAM match or a tough out a 1 hr+ probius game in this weird mode I didn’t ask for. The choice is obvious.

Separate this mode from ARAM, don’t force it on everyone.

I understand why ppl go alt+f4. Those ppl feel entitled, they have anger management issues, they want to feel in control, they have a boosted but baseless sense of selfimportance.

I keep coming out of every game with 10 same heroes, and someone comes out before me at the draft. Sometimes i wonder how these people who introduce these “innovations” still have a job, because if you take into account what they did with Hots, it really is some kind of miracle

Then go play ranked or qm if you dont like how ARAM is or go enjoy leaver que.

Ya know, when a lot of people asked for a ‘balanced’ ARAM mode they wanted it to be a separate mode. Much like some people wanted the old solo queue ranked matches back.

We didn’t all get what we wanted, but seriously, a small taste of the fun mode ARAM was meant to be comes back and it’s a problem? It’s better than losing a ranked game because someone throws because they don’t like your draft.

It’s weird for sure, but the regulars have seen a few of them. Typically trolls who get their account silenced and make a new account to keep on trolling. The really weird one we have seen is an Elite troll that made a few accounts and would have conversations with themselves in their own threads. A few of them of course made accounts to abuse the reporting system. Many got wrongfully punished. Some were able to get the punishment removed.

It was so perplexing that I felt I was regretting my life choices and I should be doing something more useful with my time. Instead, I was here…
