Well I’m sure she loved her home, as do most of us. Entitled or not, what happened to her sucks and it makes sense that she’s the way she is because of it. I don’t think the Forsaken can fill the gap that her elven home once filled.
Sylvanas will die slowly and painfully I will make her suffer
She is already, don’t worry
If she were truly dead none of ht is would have happened now would it? My home wouldn’t be in flames right now.
I meant she’s already “dying” and suffering. Not that she’s dead.
She still needs more suffering
By the trailer of Shadowlands, it looks like she might either accomplish what she wants, or die.
So all you Sylvanas haters can finally rejoice if she fully dies.
I didn’t always hate her, but as someone who got real into the head of their wow character, I hate her with passion given Teldrassil (Melke was my main, N elf Druid so… yeah.
So this became a thread about how people hate Sylvanas and Qhira but they’re both pretty didn’t it?
I never hated Sylvanas.
Yeah I think so
This is what I get for sharing Qhira fanart. Oh well
If people can’t appreciate art because they don’t like the character, that’s their problem. I don’t really think Qhira was a good move by Blizzard and I can’t say I like her, but I do think she looks pretty in that pic. I can’t deny that no matter how much I dislike her…
I agree she wasn’t handled well, I just see untapped potential that reminds me of one of my favourite characters ever combined with a cute face and a bit of a “she just needs a hug” head canon of mine,
Put simply I like her becasue I lvie in fanfic land where she has that development XD
Their biggest mistake with Qhira is not incorporating her in to the Nexus lore with Orphea. Had they connected those two somehow, it would have been better because it would have built off of the Nexus lore, not its own stand alone lore, which is still very bland.
No, it would have been better if they just added her to overwatch instead. She fits in well there, and they could build her up as character.
They could have done that, but her being in heroes of the storm isn’t what bugs me. What bugs me is that she came out of nowhere with almost no lore to go off of.
Heroes doesn’t really give much lore. Her being in overwatch would have solved that since Overwatch goes above and beyond for its characters, to the point of giving them lengthy cinematics and novels.
Can’t stand this character. I initially thought she was an Overwatch character. Why do we even need Nexus characters? There are so many characters from Blizzard’s most beloved universes (Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo) that haven’t made it into the game yet. It’s pretty tragic that some Overwatch knock-off reject made it into HotS before a notable Tauren or Undead character did. Or any of the other Prime/Lesser Evils of Diablo, for that matter.
I think Qhira was just an emergency solution.
When Hots was put on life support, Imperius was pretty much finished and Anduin in advanced stage of development. I think when Anduin was released they already have decided that DW will be the Blizzcon hero. They knew DW would require huge amount of time, but they couldn’t afford 8 month without any new hero. I think they just looked at the prototypes and decided to quiclky finish the most promising one.
It is obvious that Qhira was a little bit rushed. Her W really should be her trait. She was bugged at release (when you have an ability dealing bonus dmg under certain conditions you really should check if it doesn’t deal bonus dmg all the time). her personality is boring so does her voice lines. I think devs wanted to give her some personality, because “Hi! I am Qhira and this is my sword!” would look terrible, but they didn’t have enough time and resources to do that, so they just quickly put some ideas together.
They probably did it to add depth, which I don’t have a problem with but they screwed the pooch on that.
Because it’s the companies right to do whatever they want to the game. Doing the same thing every time can make things bland.
Sorry the Qhira hatred ship has sailed and the flavor of the month is Auriel
